It hit him on the chest Stevie Wonder.

His career stagnated a bit. Dropped to midcard but now promoted again after this repackage.

He's criticizing after they won against the current Serie A leaders, I wouldn't really take it seriously.

Should I not give credit to the man for saving a penalty? Hmm maybe you are right and I should give the credit to Pep himself. After all he did his studies in Italy and specialised in Italian penalty saving skills which he directly explained to Ederson.
You are also right in that we should give credit to other gems he found in 50m man Sane, 60m man de Bruyne, 50m man Sterling and the unknown gem that was Gabriel Jesus. It's pretty amazing how he found these talents which no one had heard of and made them play good football. That is hard and you know it, I mean I do that in FIFA all the time but in real life I have never seen something like this.

What's wrong with it lol? no one actually takes comments like that seriously and what's the difference between that and a manager who overhypes a team before a game?
Besides he's always hyperbolic with teams who actually play football against his team, i remember similar comments about Arsenal and Villarreal in the past.
He's just showing respect, really don't see the issue tbh.

Because only City is buying top players lol. Stahp with that dumb and boring "he bought players" bullshit will ya, every top team on the planet is doing that.

Tell me which manager has had the chance to spend 450m in two years, you won't get past PSG and no one will call Emery a genius if PSG do well in the next few years.

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group F
Are we still having this debate? Surely you can watch the game and see what he's doing is great like any other great manager.
How they are playing just doesn't magically happen no matter how much they spend.
Honestly this whole thing is tiresome, same arguments over and over again.

Once again what's money has to do with any of this? At the end of the day what matters is the quality of squad at hand. We have sunk from Messi carried Pep to Ederson is carrying Pep I guess.

Yep, it wasn't a penalty.
City is playing very beautiful football this year. Much better than the last one.

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group F
Absolutely incredible from Pep tonight, the way he spent on Silva, Jesus, Sane, Otamendi, KdB, Walker, Ederson, Stones, Sterling, Gundogan, Danilo, etc is nothing short of philosophical. I honestly think he can transition to a university professor no problem. I mean the way he fixed that City's defense is an incredible feat in of itself. Chucking out Arsene's dead fullbacks from 10 years ago and injecting 3 new fullbacks was just amazing to see. Imposing that WIFI ban has showed its benefits tonight, just from the simple eye test. I don't think i saw a City player with a phone tonight? (correct me if im wrong). All in all, i was completely wrong about him, wish i'd realized that sooner. His Bayern team was just unlucky, should've been a back to back 3 time CL champion if it weren't for the country of Spain, just unlucky. I'm sure they can clinch it this year, Real has slowed down, Bayern is Bayern, only threat i see is Barca if Messi is in the mood.

City got dominated for 45 minutes and squeaked away with a narrow win at home. tbf I'm not really seeing anyone fellate Pep for this result, and rightly so.

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group F
2-2 would have been the fair result. With VAR, the handball would have been called and there would have been another penalty for Napoli. But, I think Napoli supporters would rather have Napoli out of European play altogether as they want to win the Scudetto this year.

Fair? It should have been 4 or 5-0 before Napoli even knew what day it was. If De Bruyne's shot which cannoned off the underside of the crossbar goes in it could have gone the way of Stoke.

In the world of the bus parker any team that manages to string more than 5 passes together in the opponents half of the field is domination.
