Who will progress?
Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group B
Can't wait for the scenes when Dani Alves sets up Cavani for the winner and Neymar starts pushing him.
" Bah Gawd Alves betrayed Neymar, how could he do such a thing what a monster".

Bayern players should try and backstab their coach less and focus more on actually doing well on the pitch

I think the ref should have sent at least one PSG player out, this is unacceptable, a German team losing in CL. Clearly the refs are on PSG side

Carlo out.
I feel like Nick 2015 here. Crosses, crosses, clueless crosses, no defensive attitude and no creativity.
OUT.
The only nice thing about this game is that it confirms Neymar is a complete fraud

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group B
Quiet as it is, this has been one extremely bad UCL week for Bundesliga. I think all 3 teams lost this matchday. Anyway, been quite critical of PSG and to me, rightfully so. But today, they were legit good. Emery had the lads play with a coherent game plan and worked it to perfection. Really nice football and I have no qualms at all with it. Well done.
Bayern, well, Vidal and Ribery can't blame the ref for this one. They were just absolutely bad. Sterile possession, useless crosses, kinda refusing to pass to Lewa who just seem to enjoy wanting the ball in congested areas. And the game plan, dear goodness, was not sure what Carlo was going for here. Btw, I didn't realise for an entire half that James started.
Of course, Viva could always blame Ramos or Pep for this loss

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group B
Wonder whether Bankz is laughing hysterically because Neymar has been completely atrocious once again?

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group B
Neymar did today what I left him doing at Barcelona. Really nice flashes of brilliance with a whole bunch of over dribbles and suspect decision making. He did contribute meaningfully (like he did at Barcelona) so that's all that matters in the end.

Mbappe and Cavani did all the work. Neymar only lost countless balls once again, messed up 2-3 big opportunities, managed one tap in from 3 yards and should have been sent off for another mean spirited kick at the end.

I had shock therapy to forget about Ancelotti's last season, please don't bring it back.Hapless_Hans wrote:Carlo out.

Although it's rare to see Carlo losing a big CL game
But you legit signed James so he could start for you?

He did dribble through some Bayern lads to square to Alves who was free as a bird who was free on the right. It was meaningful to me, just a standard Neymar performance.

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group B
Neymar was good. Mbappe was good. Cavani was good. The unselfish nature of Mbappe and Cavani (other than free kicks lol) allows everything to work.
Mbappe's stats won't be huge this season due to the nature of his work. But he's every bit as impactful to games and even moreso. He is a football genius imo.
