THis is the level of Liverpool, letting go of the Brazilian Montolivo, you get this. Sad what they've become. As for us, we don't put a gun to our players and make them mourn a bit part player.

futbol_bill wrote:We didn't sell James for a loss. Look at the details! 15m for each of next two seasons and if they want him after that, it's another 30. That adds up to 60m minimum and yet if anyone else offers more than 30,we can take it.
Ceballos has the likes of Xavi or Thiago. That is a huge signing that we have been trying to make for 3 years.
And Morata isn't happy being a reserve. If he does leave, I predict club will bring in Mbappe.
Plus we have filled in missing pieces re LB and DM.
How can anyone possibly say this season has been a failure?
We don't need a xavi / thiago type player.
We got better in Kroos and Modric. Modric getting older but I trust isco and kovacic.
Also where are you getting those numbers in James deal?
http://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/07/11/5964e1b9e5fdeabe208b4576.html
First I did when I saw James to Bayern was look into the finer details. Nobody wanted James so how did we get rid of him? We got desperate and ended up getting the raw end of the deal out of it.
Morata is not worth more than 60m. And even then nobody in their right mind pays that much for a backup player. Even if he plays for real madrid. The main reason why Lukaku costed as much as he did was because he's been a starter for his team for over many seasons and he's successful in the Premier League so that "Premier League proven" jacks up his worth.
I'm no rocket scientist but even I can understand the market. We had some good offers for Morata yet Florentino wishes to hold up his evaluation at an unrealistic price point. A price point that will backfire on us the longer this goes on. Morata's asked o leave and we blocked potentially 2 moves for him maybe even 3.
At 70m we already fleecing our potential suitors for him 70m is a job well done. We get better offers than 70 million then by God we should accept it and yet here we are stuck with morata. What the hell?
Our priority should be a new star forward the BBC are not getting any younger. Cristiano is not getting younger.
I'm only considering our transfer window a success if we sign that new star forward everything else is just bonuses. Especially ceballos we cannot let Barcelona have him. That deal was more of us denying Barcelona any reinforcements in Midfield than us needing a midfielder. Even with James gone, we still very stacked in Midfield.
Our Frontline is old and and who knows when Gareth Bale gets injured again. Rather not take that risk and invest in someone who is available 80% of the time at least. You really want to go into a season with just Ronaldo benz and Morata? I don't.

- AC Milan will move for Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic, according to Corriere dello Sport, to compliment a strike force including Andre Silva and Carlos Bacca.
The Croatia striker enjoyed a phenomenal season with the Viola last term, scoring 20 goals in all competitions, and the 29-year-old is seen as a priority after Borussia Dortmund reportedly ruled out selling Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang due to rivals missing the deadline.
The Rossoneri also want Fluminense sensation Richarlison, with Gianluca Di Marzio revealing the Brazilian giants will demand €15m for the 20-year-old.

Who knows . Although i do believe there will be a few surprises yet.
I personally like Kalinic . I'll keep it short , there's a possibility we could possibly sign Kalinic regardless if there's white smoke with Belotti or not. It's not one or the other. It's Bacca or Kalinic .
Montella said yesterday we may play with 3 at the back and this means 2 up front . Bacca is up for sale , Montella doesn't want him . As long as he's satisfied , he also wants out , to start games for the WC. He likes Kalinic and the player already said he wants Milan. Truth be told , he'd fit in like a glove within Montella's tactics.
Andre Silva-Belotti-Kalinic-Cutrone therefore could well be the plan . I don't know if that's what's going to be of course . But if it's 3-5-2 after all , Belotti/Kalinic do not exclude the other. Regardless what happens with Belotti and i daresay even the set up , the moment Bacca is out , Kalinic will be at Casa Milan within 2-3 days , i say this with the outmost confidence.
All in all , Kalinic/Belotti do not exclude one another . They are not in the same suitcase. Kalinic case will sort itself out on its own , after we get closure with Belotti and after we know what's to be with Bacca. If he's needed , he comes anyway. If not , we stay with Bacca regardless of set up , he'll be benched anyway.
