LC, well, tough luck I suppose. They did well and would have liked if they got the draw or better yet, the win.
Welbeck, Holding, the new guy and Ozil a bit weren't all of that today but 3 points is 3 points. All that matters.
Barely a hand ball, Fouls are irrelevant in the GOAT League. Players play on with broken legs and concussed heads.

Yah. Kept wishing we would sign Lacazette even though I knew it wasn't gonna happen. He's a complete player.

Xhaka is dogshite
You would think a Liverpool fan would appreciate Xabi's heir but then it's been 8 since you've seen a great midfielder play for Liverpool.
Xabi's heir Xhaka? lmfao
Both the teams have no decent midfielder to touch Xabi's left shoe.

Xhaka is great, he's just pidgeon holed as a DM for some reason.
He's a tall CM who can pass really well and sometimes tackle

I agree, but mostly because it's an area that has been so unfilled for 5 years at the Emirates, just about any decent FW could improve the team significantly.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Great game, Arsenal will need to hope they get some of their CBs back mind.
It's early but i think Lacazette will prove to be the best of the big money striker signings.

To be clear when i say big money striker signings, i was comparing him to Morata and Lukaku.

He's not a CM, he's a deep-lying playmaker in the mold of Xabi Alonso. Wouldn't change anything about him, as much as Wenger is clueless he gets Xhaka right. Just need to find a better partner in midfield and we good.

I mean is there really any need to be that semantic mate?

He and Lacazette linked up great together tbf, if i was Wenger i'd seriously consider starting them together if Sanchez isn't going to play.

Lacazette needs to lead the line. But he does better if he's not alone as a striker. Needs a 10 or AM that plays close to him. As an example... he was at his best with Fekir.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Xhaka was terrible tonight, let's be honest. His passing was all over the place, and he literally stood still at let Vardy run pass him for the third goal. Even in a zonal system he had to do something there.
Saying that, Ozil's passing was also bad. I think it was a really anxious performance all round. The crowd was up for it but bipolar. Felt like a super big game even though it was just game one The fact we couldn't defend at all didn't help. All of Leicester's goals came from defensive errors.
We started the game with one recognised centre back and a winger at LWB and ended it with a RB at LB, a winger at RB and two LBs at CB. Little wonder we were shite at the back. Monreal was losing headers to Vardy all game. Ox couldn't defend the back post at all. Kolasinac is fun when he's going forward but looked nervous. Holding struggled big time with Vardy as well.
Hopefully when we actually get our centre backs back and a settled backline we'll improve.
Lacazette was great. Went quiet after he scored but when he was pushed onto the flank he really came into the game. He's got great composure in the box.

He's a RB mole, And he's pretty good for his age, He's 18 i think. One of the best players to come through the academy since I have started watching football, On par with Sterling with the early performances. He played 90' against United last year if you would have watched.
Moreno starting this season over a fit Milner and new signing Robertson. *bleep* kill me before this club does.

Liverpool's bench:
Karius, Gomez, Klavan, Milner, Grujic, Solanke, Origi
What happened to Sturridge?

lol Watford have a team of failed prospects and a random 40 year old Kaboul (wtf he's still only 31?) thrown in, Liverpool should walk this tbh. Expecting 3 goals minimum.
curious to see how Salah plays in this Liverpool team, what did he look like in pre-season?
Moreano still stealing a living, unreal stuff.

I actually feel somewhat sorry for the resident Pool fans here. It was looking good just a few months ago. Back in the CL, excitement about the season ahead. Then reality sets in.
Klopp needs to get his act together regarding transfers

Salah was top scorer in pre season but it mostly Coutinho assists.
@Jay Sturridge (Thigh), Clyne (Knee Muscle), Lallana (Thigh) out injured.
