Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Apart from that, United finished last season as 6th, before as 5th.
Calling them favourites for the title is laughable, and two wins over lower table teams doesn't change that one bit.
First good opponent they get, Mou is going to bench Mkhi for Lingard and Fellaini and play a midfield three of Matic-Smalling-Jones ahead of a 5 man defense, and they'll be back to goalless draws

Could make on for United as well tbh but don't want to play with the GL jinx, Liverpool might be on the receiving end of some disrespek if I trouble the GL gods.

Well, the reason Mkhi is playing in the first place is because Mou gets defensive contribution from the lad, so your snide doesnt really work here. Should have said he would bench Mata for Lingard instead.

How the heck are Chelsea not giving RLC a chance in their midfield. Would have solved their current midfield crisis like seriously. Looks top talent really. Easily better than past it scrubs like Fabregas.

I will say though, as impressive as the 4-0 wins are, I don't think that's sustainable throughout the season.
They still weren't better than Chelsea or Tottenham and wouldn't have finished ahead even with good finishing. City's chance creation was even better, with worse finishing so the same thing.
I can give that with better finishing last season they finish fourth, maybe.

Quite obviously Conte does not rate him. Neither did Mourinho.

With better finishing and fair refereeing, they'd have been 7th and out of last 32 of EL

Can see Klopp trying to persuade him next season to join Pool.

1-0 Pool. Mane.

Palace are so bad they allowed that LPool defense keep a clean sheet. I think we will have our first manager casualty in FDB. At least thank you for taking TFM on loan. He along with Loftus Cheek has been their best players these 2 games.

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
Good win for Liverpool against a bogey team after a mid-week CL game.
Teams for Stoke vs Arsenal:
Butland; Zouma, Shawcross, Cameron; Diouf, Allen, Fletcher, Pieters; Shaqiri, Jese; Choupo-Moting
Cech; Mustafi, Monreal, Kolasinac; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Chamberlain; Ozil, Welbeck; Lacazette

Think it will be Bilic, that team has too many scrubs especially in midfield. Think they will struggle and go on a poor run of form and the owners will be say enough is enough
