Can't see him failing tbh. I don't remember a player with his playmaking skills failing. The only knock on him as that he's not an elite defender and has an ugly shot. I'd take that any day.

Also this video shows just how amazing his transition playmaking is. We just need to improve defensively to give him and D'angelo the opportunity to show their passing skills. We probably have the best passing backcourt in the league when Lonzo gets here ability wise.

The top 2 is great imo. Can't see what the deal is with De'Aaron Fox, and Josh Jackson has a tiny frame for his position and can't shoot. I'd rather want Monk or Jonathan Isaac.

Most scouts have Fultz ahead of Simmons as a prospect, but that's cause his floor is higher. If Simmons has a legit 3pter, he probably has a higher ceiling.

Personally think this draft is loaded through 10. Markkanen would probably go top 5 in a lot of drafts. Dennis Smith Jr is a great prospect in the 6-10 range too. I think he's better than Fox.

DSJ looks great though.

I'm also high on Fultz. He seems like a more athletic D'Angelo Russell in playing style. That's one hell of a player in that case.

I love Russell as a SG though and feel he and Lonzo can become amazing.

No one said anything good about last year's draft aside from the top 2. The Bennett draft was the worst one in history and no one believed in anyone from that draft really. Hasn't been a single great player in the top of that draft.

Giannis was 15 and a project. Gobert and Giannis only good players from that draft.

Ingram gonna be great. He was great after all star break. Murray and Brown also looks good players.

But tbf to him he grew quickly and was the skinniest player I've ever seen. And he's still younger than most players this year. He's younger than Josh Jackson by half a year.

Nah, last years draft was considered top 2 heavy but weak overall at the time

Murray looked real ordinary. Billed as a day 1 shooter but shoots 33%. Plays no defense.

Hield did well, surprised me in Sacramento.

Kris Dunn got a lot of necessary and unnecessary sh*, but at least he came in with an NBA skill from day 1. His defense is absolutely legit.

Kriss Dunn I can't get behind at all. Guard defense is overrated if they offer nothing on offense. Wouldn't trade anything for him. He turns 24 next season and can't shoot. Meh.

Played only 2 and half seasons in college due to injury. He was never as ready as people thought. I hate this myth that prospects won't improve because they're 22-24. He will most certainly improve, at worst he was a top 3 defender on the Wolves last year behind Dieng and Rubio. Once Thibs started playing him at SG, he got better.

I'm talking about his age because people wanted us to trade a 20 year old for a 23 year old because the 20 year old hadn't improved during his rookie season.

You might hate people not thinking a 23yo can still improve. Sure they can, more often than not, a 23yo without any offense game isn't just gonna get it like that.

Still find it weird how anyone would trade 20 year olds and 21 years old for rookies who are older than them.

I just don't like these athletic wing and guard defenders who can't shoot. They rarely pan out. Only one who I can think of is Kawhi.
