We've always been the best team in the comp since we entered it.
Who is you? If you is Man U, you are delusional. And, you ignorant little punk, who do you think you are calling other posters clowns and telling them to stfu.

Maybe United winning Europa might give the competition a lil more prestige so I don't mind them going all the way. Hopefully they avoid Celta de Vigo though, feel Utd might have a serious difficult time dealing with them.

even though we're favorites and should beat all of the teams especially over 2 legs, still wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Celta beat us. Want to avoid them, Lyon and Schalke.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Honestly who believed Roma could win the cup, just don't know the Roma
I hadn't doubts they 'd have been bumped off from the 1st serious team
They've the same problem than Napoli , a frail ( and loser) mentality.
Ffs I still remember when Napoli were going to win the Uefa Cup with Higuain as CF but they were capable to bottle it against the fu**** Dnipro to semifinal
Europe is just a matter for 3 those big teams in Italy

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
I think this was a fair result overall. We deserved to win this game, but not the tie itself. That first leg performance was unforgivable. Always a tall order to get through after that so I am content with this result.
Dzeko, Salah, and Nainggolan's form has well and truly cooled off. Peres is the new Iturbe. SES needs to get out of his own head. We need Florenzi back ASAP and Alisson is a stud of a keeper. That's basically what I've learned from this tie. I don't blame Spaletti for this game, he threw 5 strikers on ffs. He did everything he could. I don't blame the ref or Lyon either, that's a loser's mentality.
We have only ourselves to blame, as always with Roma. The right team is progressing.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Celta may actually make a semis with this kind draw. Utd really shouldn't be losing to Anderlect, really. Zigra needs to get adjusted to being knocked out by Schalke all now and Farfan should be able to beat Besiktas.

So, expressing an opinion that Lyon and Roma were the best teams in the competition is "chatting shit" and a reason to tell another poster to STFU? It's an opinion you little ignorant little turd.

Relax, De Ligt, Tete, Beek & the rest of the kids are gonna rock this !
17 year old CB playing mistake free & complete in every respect - The world deserves to see De Ligt against a decent team !

Lukewarm on Bosz's Ajax but Schalke have had an iffy season and not in the greatest form as of recent though do come big in recent European competitions. Hope whoever wins will be the bigger team to prevent United from winning the cup.

I don't know why you hate Bosz that much but don't worry, we'll stop United.

I don't hate Bosz lmao that was on chat when are we (including you) ever serious on that platform. I simply remain skeptical of him and don't enjoy watching Ajax under him and its subjective. I'm a fan of Cocu's PSV anyway and watch them from Eredivisie.

I'm sure you haven watched us recently or if you did it was probably an off game. Bosz needed time to implement his philosophy but right now we are far and away the best team in the Eredivisie playing attacking football and destroying teams. When we played the league leaders Feyenoord we had 24:7 shots and could've easily scored 5 or more goals ffs.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Why would I judge a team based on 1-3 games? That a common mistake in football spectators to judge based on sample sizes such as that. I have an Isreali friend crazy over him based on his MTA team and I myself didn't like his Vitesse as obviously previous skepticism is playing a role here yet not critical analysis. And Ajax is better than Feyenoord in my opinion despite the point difference as all I'm saying I have to see more from my side and the critique has nothing to do with losing against Rostov or their play style but will be explained by the end of the year.

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Didn't say you did but it sounded a bit like as you've based your opinion on the first half of our season or so as we've started the season being shit and after a while and getting rid of various players the system started to work better especially with Kluivert and now Neres in the team.
Anyway winning the EL might convince you

Re: 2016/17 Europa League
Well I will admit I have not watched all their games and of course you have so you will have a better understanding of the team along with your fanship of it as I hate when non-fans of my club talk over without knowing much. I have watched them to date yet simply not all the games. And no it will not even take an EL win to change my mind as they can lose versus Schalke yet if Bosz can replicate what he does this year in the next and actually evolve upon it instead of seeing this a fluke or a decline as some Ajax coaches have, then I will be convinced. As otherwise I'd be goading him for his early loss in the Champions League.
Europe would help though as too long Ajax has had sub-par results for its pedigree in Europe and it'll be remain to see how Bosz's lack of European experience can grow.

Kluivert is the kid to watch. He's going to be the next big thing out of Holland. Fantastic young talent with the right mindset to make good on it.

Man United
Ajax
Lyon
Celta
to progress IMO
think Besiktas will give Lyon a good couple games and wouldn't be shocked to see them sneak through
