Real Madrid vs Las Palmas

A quick match thread just in case this match actually turns out to be anything other than a routine win. And going by our lovely style of play, I have reservations about that.

Marca predicting a very different lineup, full of rotations.

They have Casilla in for Navas, Nacho in for Pepe, Morata in for Benz and in midfield they have Kroos in back of Isco and James.

Zidane did say a while back that he planned on rotations, maybe this the reason behind this for this mid week game.

However I was expecting the midfield to be Isco with Kroos and Modric. I like the idea of Morata (about time!). Although James does deserve some time, it would be better to play Kovacic if Modric is to be rested. I don't see an issue with the other changes.

and to answer Sports' question, it does seem as if Bale is a go!

Las Palmas predicted XI: Varas, Simon, Aythami, Bigas, Castellano, Mesa, Viera, Gomez, Tana, Boateng, Jese.

Nice, Zizou taking Kovacic out of cold storage and finally giving Isco and Morata a start. I hope the latter scores a hat-trick because anything less than 1 goal and it's back to cold storage. Isco is going back to cold storage regardless of what he does.

Danilo is out injured and Coentrao is probably the same. The former, while being unfortunate for him is actually better for the team. Danilo starting is a goal to the opposition automatically.

Someone got a link for the real game? My stream shows Morata starting over Benz. Think there's something wrong.

Line up is an exception not a norm, if anyone is getting his hopes too high.

Well, the few things I am enjoying from that half are Isco showing his class through and through, the little battle between Jese and Carvajal and not seeing Benzema's dumb face.

Other than that, pretty crappy 1st half but I'm sure they'll be an improvement in the 2nd half.

Ramos has made 4 big mistakes in the last 2 games. He is the main reason Madrid have 1 la liga in almost a decade.
