not necessarily.....football isn't logic "team a beat team b and lost to team c, doesn't mean team c will automatically beat team a". the problem with a manager like avb is one of the major problems with a lot of top managers imo, and that is, they want to 'over-coach'- you have a good player or a good team, instead of just letting things flow, you want to show you're "tactically sound" so you start playing them in weird positions and putting out weird formations, and that may not appeal to the players, thus creating problems

plus, guardiola coaching that team, already had a background at that club, was known by many of the players; avb with a different background, might have had a different challenge. its a ridiculous question to be honest. yes, having the best players and coaching at a club where you could just buy your rivals' two best players has helped guardiola, but it doesn't mean avb should be exonerated for his mess ups
