Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 31
Cena Vs Taker will be the Main event especially if it involves the title imo.
I can't see a Goldberg - Lesnar match with zero implications being the main event.
Wwe is known to create suspense for the last and quite obviously there is expected to be some suspense in Cena- Taker match.
Although I do fear a Reigns main event though

Only reason I said or is if Taker can't wrestle for whatever reason, I mean it's unlikely but he is old

If he can't wrestle, even then I wouldn't have a Goldberg- Lesnar main event. When is the last time we had a non title match as the main event ?
Well in case Taker can't wrestle, the 2nd best option would be Styles-Cena and it's a relatively easy storyline to do. Cena has never beaten him and he's desperate to win the belt. Pretty straightforward if you ask me.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 31
Well I agree completely but I bet that if Taker can't go I would bet money Lesnar and Goldberg is last.
I wouldn't have it last personally but I bet it happens if Taker can't go it will , it's not a likely scenario as I think Taker will be fine but yeah.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 31
The final rating for Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown was a 1.88, up from last week’s 1.71 rating. As noted, this week’s show drew 2.637 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.361 million viewers.
The final rating for this week’s edition of WWE Raw was a 2.02, up from last week’s 1.93 rating. As noted, Monday’s show drew 2.955 million viewers. up from last week’s 2.758 million viewers.
TNA I heard does 300,000 or 400,000 viewers while SD is doing 2.6M last week. Strong numbers for SD - Ofcourse Raw seems to have improved a bit

Not sure about the rest of TNA, but Broken Matt Hardy is the best gimmick since forever imo.

Rest of TNA is garbage from what I understand but yeah it's a great gimmick.
Having said that I don't think either Delete vs Decay or Total Non Stop Deletion were as good as Final Deletion imo.

http://www.wwe.com/polls/100-days-until-wrestlemania-33-which-wwe-superstar-do-you-want-to-see-in-main-event
WWE doing a poll for who the fans want to main event.
Styles with 33% of the vote and the next closest is Taker with 12%
It's a sign that WWE should do a Belt vs Career vs Record match imo.
Styles puts the belt on the line, Taker puts Career on the line and Cena puts record on the line ( doesn't get another shot if he loses)
Would never happen but should IMO.

Promo of the year tbh.
@RealGunner
This imo
Even if it's not in front of a live audience , this was unreal imo.
Miz is among the top 3 wwe superstar of 2016 without a doubt.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 31
Miz-Bryan Talking Smack was decent. Miz took some cheap shots @ Bryan & he is a good talker anyways. But IMO nowhere near the best promo.
Best promo by far was Ambrose vs Ziggler. Unreal one. Ziggler was a complete jobber & suddenly that feud became a high profile one & a Summerslam Main-event contender

Others -
Ambrose-Cena short promo
This was fantastic, go to the middle, Styles & then Ambrose.
Ambrose - Cena "the master of political spin"

Ambrose has definitely been the best promo this year. His form from MITB until Backlash was amazing.

Form - yes, but if we are talking about it on a singular level, either Miz or Dolph takes the cake

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 31
Miz had that one good segment with Bryan on Talking Smack, apart from that I'm struggling to think of a memorable in-ring promo aside from the one with Ziggler (career on the line promo). The thing Miz has going for him is that he's consistent. He doesn't cut bad promos, but at the same time, he doesn't cut 'amazing' promos often either.
The moment Ambrose won the title he was cutting promos of the week every week up until Ellsworth got involved. I remember his promos being on top of r/sc every week for like two months.
Ziggler isn't on Ambrose's level and he isn't on Miz's level either.

For me the best promos (wrestlers) are:
Jericho, Cena, Bray, Ambrose, Enzo, Xavier Woods, and the Miz.

Enzo Amore is absolutely amazing, amidst some weird lines, some of his lines are truly amazing & original
Speaking of amazing promos, Adam Cole of ROH has been absolutely amazing
