Goal scorer Strootman goes down in sheer pain after Cataldi pulls his shirt, post water splash on the Laziale. Surprised he isn't hospitalised.

Nainggolan with one of the worst long range goals i've ever seen, and Marchetti with one of the worst goalkeeping effort i've ever seen

Lmao at that 100m release clause not applicable to Italian clubs for Belotti, as if any foreign club will even consider buying a guy called Belotti, he'll be at Genoa in 2-3 years once he inevitably flops

Juve won, Inter lost... great week end to be honest Very Happy

in other news, Palermo's 38th coach under the Zamparini presidency has suffer a loss for his first match... Now this is batshit insane, 10 times worst than the Inter situation, it's really hard to believe someone can have so little patience when it comes to create an identity for his team.

Er Lavatrice endearing himself today Proud Molenation....Laziale were going apeshit on him today on twitter. It was an asshole move from him to instigate that scrum, but it's Lazio so I literally just remembered I don't care about their feelings Laughing

Nainggolan shoots from that distance at least 3 times every game and hit the target less than once on those occassions. He had no business scoring that goal and while it looked pretty from the run of it, it was just shitty keeping from Marchetti, but that said, it gave us all of the cushion we needed so I'll take it.

That's one big game down, 2 more to go.

Nainggolan has probably been the best midfielder in Serie A this season. Love that player. Him or Hamsik.

Diawara has been monstrous since Sarri put him in Jorginho's place and worth a mention as well imo.

I don't know, he might hit one in a hundred, but the way Naingolan raced through the defense prior to the shot was impressive, and it was a strong shot from distance.

Meh, I've seen him do that many times and usually the shot ends up in orbit. Every so often he puts them on target and tests the keeper, but this one wasn't that. Just really bad positioning from Marchetti.

Strootman gets a two game suspension for his simulation against Lazio.

Is Paredes back from injury?

So that's him out for Milan and Juve then. FFS.

Apparently they factored in the yellow he got for "excessive celebrating" along with the incident with Cataldi. My biggest question here is if Strootman truly dived, then why did Cataldi get a 1-match ban? That logic doesn't add up......because it's bullshit from the FIGC.

Paredes will miss both Milan and Juve as well. Looks like a double-pivot of DDR and Nainggolan will probably be the order of the day for our midfield. SES and Perotti will play behind Dzeko, but not sure who the 3rd attacker will be behind him. I'm thinking Gerson.

What an absurdity from the disciplinary committee

Watched the game and saw the brawl. Strootman was standing up 5 seconds after going down, his jersey was pulled from behind therefore choking his throat: it was more of a natural reflex than a simulation in this case. The laziale was sent off on the spot, isn't that enough of a proof lol ?

Cataldi should be suspended for more than one match. Disgraceful.

Come on man Strootman 100% simulated. He went down in the fakest way possible after getting his shirt pulled. This isn't new though, things like these always get punished in Serie A. Players should know better.

There is a bit of simulating, but he was "attacked" from the back, probably the effect of surprise makes him go down like this.
Cataldi deserved to be sent off no matter what, the simulation did not mislead the ref into taking the wrong decision.

Any ways, it's only good news for Juve What a Face
