No Man's Sky was a mistake.

I have contacted you because the silence from Hello Games has been unwarranted and unprofessional. The community has asked me to speak up, and I have a confession to make. The game was simply unfinished upon arrival. Our hand was forced by not only Sony, but the community as well. The constant harassment and absolute gross misconduct on the community's part has made it hard to fulfill our artistic vision, while the pressure from Sony to release the game as soon as possible forced us to cut key features. I want to apologize for what we did not deliver on, as the game does not meet up to what our artistic vision was.

However, we do wish that the community was more understanding of our situation. Many people have asked for refunds despite our promise to continually improve and update No Man's Sky. We are just a small studio that has poured our blood, sweat, and tears into this project. The complete lack of respect when it comes to the work we have done absolutely saddens not only myself, but the team as well. We want to improve the game to the point we dreamed of it being and beyond.

I pirated the shit out of NMS thank god. Most of the games I pirate before paying (Since there's no Demos anymore - Piracy because you don't do Demos anymore, what's up with that game industry?) - only recently have I pre-ordered/bought on release. (Civ VI, Doom, Battlefront - Two hits and one that I was already pretty sceptical about. I waited to actually buy FO4 until the Creation Kit came out

NMS is so badly made it almost has to be on purpose.

Anyways NMS on Steam is so refundable you basically rent the game for free, with its AAA deposit.

Are you re-playing it?

I have just entered monument Island. Feels a lot more like bioshock now. Although it's a lot easier than BS2 and BS1 so far (on hard mode).

Thank F there are no creepy sisters in this game ffs.

There's some moments in Bioshock Infinite i remember really struggling with.

I didn't find it easier than Bioshock 1 or 2 tbh but i played those games on easy lmao.

I do think the multiple effective vigors probably does make the game easier though, felt like in the other Bioshocks that there wasn't as many plasmids which were as effective.

Bolt 3 carries you 95% of the game in Bioshock 1 n 2. You don't need anything else. Even on survivor.

When Big Daddy has insane health and need about 30 shot gun shots to put him donwn.... In comparison infinite is a cake walk so far lol. Saying that, I have only met police officers so far and one mini boss

Bucking Bronco+ShotGun combo was my favorite. OP as f.

And agree with mole, the gunplay in Infinite was miles better than BioShock 1 and 2. Also I appreciated the variety too, the sniper rifle was fun to use.

The first one was one of the best MP shooters of this gen and this one seems to only improve on it while adding single player.

That's not really significant when the game plays out completely differently to any of the Modern Warfare games, though Razz

I don't think we'll see another game in the mould of MW1 and MW2 anytime soon. Activision seem to be obsessed with attempting to progress the franchise and distinguishing the newer games from the older ones through adding new features that feel forced and unnecessary.

idk man, surely with all the negative backlash for the newer games from fans they have to eventually go back to the old style? I really hope BF1 sells a ridiculous amount and really gives COD a run for its money this year so they think about not putting out more of this futuristic trash next year
