as much as i like Mert, we needed something different alongside Koscielny. Lets hope Mustafi provides that

What I like the most about this signing is that Mustafi is a right sided CB who can complement Koscielny as opposed to Gabriel who is more comfortable in Koscielny's position.

I don't think Gabriel is comfortably anywhere

Really happy we were able to pull this off.

Lot of ups and downs, but we have addressed our needs and weaknesses this window.

Shkodran is a badass name. Sounds like an assassin.

He's going to score a winner against Spurs one day, I can feel it.

In my FIFA Manager Mode team before the summer started, I signed Xhaka (admittedly because I knew we'd sign him), Mustafi and Griezmann. I won the quadruple with that team.

Arsene tried to make it happen but I'll take 2/3

In all seriousness, I've been a huge fan of Mustafi since the 2014 world cup (supported Germany). I never expected us to actually be linked with him in the summer so this is just perfect. Defence wins your titles and ours is looking very well-equipped now.
