How has Digne been in preseason?

been alright, still needs time to figure out when to make a run behind the defense.

he does pretty well under pressure as-well when receiving from the keeper

I like Umtiti, he knows the small things how to defend, fouls just enough not to be a foul. Mascherano has been pretty awful preseason thus far.

Watched titbits of the match vs Spurs:

Positive: La Masia products looked good. Especially Ricard Puig. Rafinha must stay, he is much needed in this campaign and I think this could be his season. He had a wonderful half-season with Inter and certainly looks to have put his injury days past him. Malcom already looking like he is better than the money spent on Dumbéls. For €45 million, any day.

Negatives: Arthur looked meh, don't see what the board see in him but I guess it is too early to judge. He didn't look intelligent enough to run a midfield, not particularly aware of his surroundings. Also don't get the Xaviesta comparisons, he is a player who relies on acceleration rather than technique to get out of tight places. Gomes should be loaned out to already.

Riqui Puig is the player that impressed Valverde most in training out of the youngsters. I'm glad to hear he's done well in the game


Fantastic goal by Arthur as well. Nobody expects him to 'run' the midfield, he's only 21. Your bias towards certain players is ridiculous. He's doing well so far and will surely develop, has all the tools to do so.

We have to keep Rafinha, he's an amazing player and will definitely be useful throughout the campaign. He's not fast but his technique is impeccable.

Not by chance I wrote more times he was great under us and I wanted him back desperately ffs
he even preferred Inter to Barca lol . unreal

Why would we thank YOU lol? He was always our player.... it's just that there's no place for him in our line-up and he wants to be a starter, that's why he prefers a lesser club like Inter. Will be a great super sub for us if he eventually decides to stay this time around.

Why ? Because we enhanced him, we  "rebuilt" him after he hadn't played for a whole year and he came back in Barca as a new player.
Fruitful loan for Barca, that is undeniable (well for us too because we got CL place)
