true i'm glad we're tackling our aging problem but still seems like an unnecessary buy.

If Real make a big sale in the next few weeks, I think he'll go there.
Imagine City funding Pogba deal by buying Kroos off them

he seemed to of had an average euro's? and meh second half of the season
but he's still young i think that's why his transfer fee is so high, more for the potential

He didn't look particularly good at all for Portugal. Didn't stand out one bit. But I don't get paid to scout players, so maybe he'll turn out great. Can't remember him playing well for Valencia, only remember Parejo from this past season.

Don't want to judge people on international tournaments tbh, they rarely translate to a whole season and the ones who perform usually follow it up by being nobodies the whole season.

True. We haven't actually seen a lot of him, as he couldn't get into the Portgual NT first 11

Judging people for one NT tournament is bad. But judging him for not even cracking the starting XI in the first place is justifiable imo.

Barca needed someone like him though. Their midfield gets found out when MSN doesn't perform. At least he can transit faster than busquets, Iniesta and Rakitic lol

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Yeah I'm sure he's good.
I didn't like him at all for Portugal the couple of games I saw him, thought he was weak and ineffective, and Portugal's coach appeared to agree as he benched him after couple of games.
But again, there's no reason to assue he#s not very good.

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
He did begin the tournament as a starter but then was eventually displaced. I read, like Pogba, he was played somewhat out of position. I watched all of Portugal's games, as a lifetime fan, and when he featured he showed flashes of decent skill offensively. He had some decent dribbles and through balls and he can actually cross the ball. But he doesn't involve himself in the game as much as he probably should and despite an impressive build he seems like a soft player.
He reminds me of a young Marchisio when he was playing out wide at the start of his Juventus career, similar skill set

Re: 2016/17 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Honestly, I'm really glad we didn't sign him. Marca was reporting we were very close to signing him and I got really scared.
I'm sure he must be talented enough, otherwise, he wouldn't have attracted all these big clubs (if rumors are to be believed). But I'm glad we didn't sign him.
This all goes to show that nobody knows anything and that all these news outlets are just printing lies for clicks.
If you make one, two or even three inaccurate transfer predictions, I can let it slide. But if you keep on doing it constantly, you'll lose your credibility as far as I'm concered.
Seriously who's reliable now? I can't think of anybody.
