$120 million for Pogba, $25 million for Zaza, $18 million for Pererya, that's $163 million. Higuain's relase clause is payable in 2 installments which means we only need to pay $47 million this year. So that leaves $116 million to sign Kroos and Matic. Marotta got this one.

The Pereyra to Napoli links were pretty real with 18M being reported but fizzled since the whole Higuain saga began. Before that he was linked to Watford I believe.

Wolfsburg offered 25M for Zaza, they made him an offer to according to reports.

In any case, it's a ridiculous argument to make about Higuain's release clause payable in two years, it doesn't diminish the cost. We are also assuming that all the money from Zaza, Pereyra and Pogba's transfers will be paid immediately, also untrue. Were also assuming that Juventus needs to sell all 3 players in order to sign other players, again, not necessarily true.

But anyways, the only thing absolute about my stance on transfers and forming arguments and opinions in general is I don't like to deal in absolutes. It leaves for no margin of error and it leaves us assuming too many things we don't know and won't know until things are said and done.

Too many experts assuming what clubs can and will spend and the type of players they need. The only thing we should be assuming is that Milan is broke as hell.
