Lol at people doubting the Pipita lad. Unlike others he can actually justify that pricetag by the number of goals he scores. Dude scores as much as the Ronaldos and Messis ffs. That alone should justify that huge pricetag. He will win a CL soon with Juve and people will finally shut up about the "he is crap in cl" bullcrap i keep hearing

Juve have best defence in Europe and are pretty stacked midfield too with arrival of Pjanic even if Pogba is leaving. They needed a quality well established CF and got one what's hard to fathom here? Should they be always signing 20 years old youngsters all the time? Why shouldn't they pay more if they want to target CL?Also they couldn't have done better than this tbf. Who should have they gone for instead? Aguero?Lewa?Benzema? Suarez? They went for the next best option and I think as usual they hit bull's eye. After all people are ready to pay 75m for Morrata ffs.

I don't know how the new changes are going to affect the team. But one thing for sure, Juventus is now a bigger CL contender than they were last year.

@DoC but Morata and Cuadrado are gone as well. We'll see how it turns out.

All the signings seem excellent on paper. Zaza will surely be sold now. Another CM will probably leave. Then a CM will be brought or maybe even Cuadrado back.

Meh I stand by it

Back then Tevezito 10M > Higuain 40M. 40M was literally our budget at a push and we had nothing like the team we have now Laughing

Think people forget how much prices change and the fact that Higuain went from being CL flop Madrid public enemy #1 to breaking a Serie A goalscoring record who averaged like 1.3g+a in the CL group of death for crappoli.

Is he worth £80,000,000? No. No he isn't. But there's no other world class #9s on the market, we need one above anything else and thanks to a loophole we can pay it off in 2 installments.

Overpriced? Yes.

Good business? Yes.

Prime Cavani was similarly deadly in front of goal to Higuain and also stupendously physical with unbelievable stamina. I'd take Prime Cavani still over Higuain.

However there's no such thing now. This Higuain shits all over Cavani.

That's actually very interesting hmm

Lets revisit this after the season as I believe it's defining for both but we have Higuain coming from his best ever and Cavani off his worst.

I'll stand by saying that Cavani at Napoli was very underrated and ahead of Higuain, except for last season as individually the season Higuain put together was better than all of Cavani's seasons.

Pjanic from Roma too. Paid clause for both . Yes, I don't believe anyone will follow Serie A next year except the Juventus fans. Franckly, envy for EPL fans that have indecision on who will win about at least 5 teams.
I see the Champions League 2016-2017 dangerously prepared for Juventus though.
Raiola made for Pogba what he did with Ibrahimovic for us in 2009 , and signed great players for every role as we did for Lucio,t.Motta,Sneijder and Milito.
I believe they will sign also another midfielder, Pjanic is over Pogba .. even because Marchisio is injured and Khedira is injure prone. Last year they began badly because of that problem.

Di Marzio reports they are on Bacca.
Milan is available to sell him , but within 30 July, and they ask 30 , same price got from West Ham but Bacca refused Hammers because he wants to play in Champions League. Atm Napoli offered just 20 mln + a scrub

There's somewhere around 200M depending on the actual prices we get. Assuming we unload them, which we probably will.

Higuain - 90M
Pjanic - 32M
Benatia - 3M loan (+ 17 if it works out.)
Pjaca - 22M
Alves - Free

Prices aren't 100% accurate just off the top of my head. Allow 10M either way in total but it's pretty clear no matter how you slice it we've just improved our team and we've actually made money.

So we have more than enough to go and buy 2 midfielders and replace outgoing players like Zaza with cheaper alternatives because they barely play any way.

I wonder if Mandzukic stays, I hope he does because he's a warrior for this team.

We need a defensive midfielder that can fill in for Marchisio and rotate with him and Khedira when all are healthy.

Still a few question marks over this team though, how the attack looks, including depth? How Pjaca is used? What the midfield will look like?

anyway 95 mln are an unreal price, but I don't believe it will be easy for Napoli to improve from it.
Looking at last league played by Higuain (also for assists) but not just this.

Napoli are not the Milanese clubs that can have charm even in an ugly period, the great players usually snub the Napoli, probably not just matter of titles but even the city doesn't entice to accept this destination.

Besides De Larentiis is considered an ' exploiter' from Napoli fans, because he wants to earn on Napoli, so I can't get it to spend all the 94 mln but not over 60 imo

I'ts good for Napoli fans they have Sarri , that is a manager capable to give a gamestyle regardless of players .. but that's not enough to repeat the last league

Cavani was purchased for 20m, there are "bargains" out there if they know where to look. 90m is plenty to rebuild the squad, definitely more than most people think Higgy is worth.
