That should read "a part" and not "apart". Yes, one of the issues with Ramos is exactly what you described. I usually call it "Ramos time" (would definitely like the German translation to that because reasons). But we as fans shouldn't waste worry on Ramos, he is what he is. 80% of the time he is gonna f up and cause serious problems to our heart and brain. The next 20% is him scoring goals in UCL KO stages and finals.

I still can't believe how some people have trouble accepting that Varane and Pepe are better DEFENDERS than Ramos.

Ramos is Ramos and Ramos will play. You have to take the good with the bad. nothing we fans can do about it. He has long since been my favourite player, but what he caused with our NT has dropped him my perceived pedestal. I keep thinking of that Croatia game, 3 clearing miscues by Ramos and see Portugal where Spain should rightfully be, if it wasn't for Ramos.

Issue with ramos is when he is on a bad day, he needs someone smart next to him. problem with the spanish nt however, is that Pique is an even bigger idiot than Ramos.

I'm usually more harsh on Ramos but since he is doing this with spain and not Real Madrid, I'm lenient. Besides, on his goods days, good f****** luck getting the better of Sergio Ramos. Especially when on a corner setpiece.

Yea, he isn't living up to the 'defenders get better with age and experience' saying.

The funny part is, he is an untouchable in the starting eleven.

In addition, with a transfer band looming, it is likely he will be a starter for possibly, the next two seasons.

He plays with his heart, but heart can only do so much.
