Was always happening the moment he started playing midfield for United. Everything suggests he should be dropped for the better of the team but the manager hasn't got the balls.

Anyone watching ITV btw? Hoddle is so bad ffs. "Alli at his best coming from deep" (after he spent the whole year playing 10 for Spurs), "Rooney in midfield is only a small adjustment", "shouldn't have problems adapting" (Rooney and Alli have never played together). :facepalm:

See I'm the opposite. I'd rather see Rooney play up front with Kane in a diamond than see him screw up the midfield. Midfield is far too important to be messing around with.

Not to mention Kane has adapted to a CF role from being a second striker. He could easily play at the top of the diamond without missing a beat
