Not the greatest but will do I guess. Once again the whole season will depend on Sturridge remaining fit. But if Origi steps up like he did at the end of last season we should be good. The inconsistency between Coutinho, Firmino, Mane, and Lallana will be hilarious to watch.

Not sure that you can call it a "coup" at the price involved, but he's a player who is liked by both manager and club (both pursuing or tracking him closely PRIOR to the 'merger') and he adds some attributes our attack otherwise largely lacks.

I'm really worried about where this is going. Now even the small clubs that nearly got relegated are going to just throw money at their problems instead of using their scouting network to find good players.

We're also going to see every PL club jump in for the same players now, because a striker likes Batshuayi, with that sort of price tag, would have only been available to six or seven teams a couple of years ago. Now he's a viable target for 10 or more teams in the division.
