It's got more to do with the fact that we are absolutely desperate for a new no.9 and no one else is available.  Well, you could argue there are guys like Lacazette and Icardi. 90m is ridiculous yes I don't think Morata will be a 90m player, but I also don't think he will flop. We have a good Spanish contingent that will help him adapt. Could see him scoring 15 at least in PL alone next season. I am more appalled by Perisic but seems we are not as desperate for him
