Agreed. LeBron owes nothing to his physical gifts. It's definitely not what set him apart. Westbrook also, amazing handles makes up for lacking physical gifts.

It's much easier to get by on height/size than athleticism imo. There are tons of freak athletes, but much less 7 footers.
If you're 7 feet and moderately coordinated, you're guaranteed a college scholarship

So the Cavs drafted 5'9" Kay Felder who averaged 24 4 and 9 and has a 44" vertical. They say he's Isaiah Thomas 2.0

I think this might be the most delusional site on the internet right here: http://www.canishoopus.com/2016/6/23/12020716/wolves-select-kris-dunn-with-5th-overall-pick
http://www.canishoopus.com/2016/6/23/12022636/1-on-1-how-should-we-feel-about-picking-kris-dunn
75% of these idiots hate the Dunn pick.
"Kris Dunn makes Jonny Flynn look like Magic Johnson" might be the stupidest thing that's ever been put online
Their Rubio obsession is so bizarre wtf.

If you're 7 feet you're guaranteed a college scholarship? sure. But so are if you can run a 4,2-4,4 40 yard dash. It's weird to single out this when all athletes are elite and all have their parents to thank for them being in the league.
There is just as many busts at every position as there is a Center. He mentions like 10 busts in a 20 year period. We can mention the same for any position really.
I don't buy this Center don't work for it etc. narrative he puts fourth.

If you're 6'8, 250 pounds and can dribble a basketball, you are just as likely to get a scholarship as a 7footer

They will probably have to do a sign and trade with Blake I'd reckon.
Also, he's not going to Clippers. Would be fun though. Having to spend your career without a ring.

He's going to do that anyway
But i agree anyway lol, speaking of fun how would you rank it in terms of fun factor.
I'd probably say Heat, Clippers, Celtics, Spurs and Warriors imo.

I still can't see him going anywhere but OKC this year. Heat, Clippers and Celtic isn't a better chance to win. Spurs might even not be. Warriors is the only thing I can see happen other than OKC, but even then. I fully expect him to take a 1+1 contract with OKC with a player option.
Would love to see him with CP3 though. Just not on Clippers Celtics would give him an aneurysm most likely, playing with 10 players who can't shoot.

From those teams I'd say Celtics. I'd like to see more competition in the East tbh.

You'd probably have to throw in Kyrie in that trade and add Kanter

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Money wise it definitely doesn't make sense for Durant to move. 1+1 like Freeza said makes sense because he can get absurd money when the cap goes astronomical in the next 2 summers.
But if he wants to win multiple rings, there's no better place than Dubs. Spending you're prime years with nonballdominating PG, probably the best SG in the league, a defensive power house versatile PF, with a rim protector, in a system made for winning.

KD moving to GSW would be the most beta move ever though.
Would be like if LeBron left for Celtics in '10.

I don't think so. Love would be perfect for them.
He would be the ideal 2nd option there. He's an excellent floor spacer, great teammate and underrated defender (as seen when he locked down Curry at the end of game 7). He also played with Russ at UCLA, and his 7 years of western conference experience would be invaluable.
KD should give the Cavs a look, give OKC something great in return imo.
