Fortunately it ends at Atletico.

Isco started to fall off in the 2nd half hence why he got sub. But that 1st half, he was legit.

We aren't dependent on form. We aren't a proper team. We have been relying on individual brilliance for past 7 years.. The thing about real Madrid is that individual brilliance can be activated any time and opposition really doesn't matter that much... You just can't predict this Madrid because this is not a team with set tactics but one with situational tactics and match winners... Good luck with your predictions.

You would think GL would learn by now with these predictions with respect to this club but no one ever learns.

We tried to throw caution to the wind in the first 4-6 weeks... but then he quickly realized that Pepe-Ramos-Marcelo are blockheads and Kroos can't defend.  So now we're setting up to be solid defensively and build up slowly as opposed to bombing away.

Adapted to the way the squad is set up not to mention injuries all over the place.

Tbh i still believe Rafa is better manager than Zidane. the difference was love. Zidane only brought this love. His team looks average and is underdog against A.Madrid. Best was Carlo's madrid followed by Mourinho

Lol Rafa made us play Cattenacio against freaking Bilbao. The moment he put out an offensive line up we nearly got manitad at our own yard by Barca. Imagine the type of football he would have made us play if he didnt have Benzema or Casemiro. For starters Danilo would have been the first name on the team sheet. I rest my case in disgust

He lost his place to Casemiro after being lazy defensively and we became more solid defensively. He is one of the first to come off the bench though

Basel and Ludogorets are manageable. I'm glad if we have to travel to eastern Europe it's Bulgaria instead of Russia or Ukraine.

And then pretty nice tie with Basel. Switzerland has nice venues to play in and it should be nice vacation trip for our players. Rwo actually thinks Basel will like playing us.

I could have genuinely see Rafa losing to both Roma and Wolfsburg. Not because Rafa is a bad manager but the squad did not respond well to whatever it is he was doing and would have responded quite negatively. Which, once again, was really awful stuff. I mean, did you not see how he handled the 4-0 beating?!

And how we made the final is irrelevant because we are in the final. Other "superior" clubs are more than welcome to view our match though.

Serious question here: What made you hate Madrid so much? You were one of the biggest fans a couple years ago.

Liverpool put 7 past city in 2 games this season. you put 1 past them in 2 games. don't get carried away.

the problem rafa had at madrid is a rafa team play as a team. this madrid squad play as individuals it was never gonna work.

Rafa hasn't been particularly relevant since Liverpool. He hasn't done a proper job at a club for years, its not all Madrid's fault. How did Mourinho, Carlo and Zidane get them to play as a team?

Yeah.... the 424 was a wonderful team setup with Kroos and Modric trying to hold the entire midfield.  Funny thing was that the fullbacks were allowed to bomb forward too... so it looked like a 226 at times

We got destroyed by the better teams because the tactics were appropriate for 8 year olds.  Rafa had absolutely no idea how to set the team up when he didn't have an overwhelming talent advantage.

It took Zidane 4-6 weeks to change our setup to a 433 and get the players used to playing that way again.  We were out of shape in February  He had to run training camp so all the guys got their stamina up.  The Atleti loss showed where our issues were and we made the personnel adjustments.... since then, we've won 14 of the last 15 games all comps.  The guys carried a hangover after the clasico win and lost the Wolfsburg game 3 days after the clasico.  That was the only failure we've had since the end of February.

Rafa was way over his head... as he was with Inter and then Chelsea.  He has no business managing a top squad.  His tactics are ridiculous and he has no idea how to sell his vision to WC players and keep the entire squad involved.
