I don't think Mou is that concerned about money at this point. With that ego of his, and the fact that Roma is paired with Madrid for the CL he may be tempted.

Since Rudi is gone I dont think Roma will be embarassed like they were against Barca. But its still hard to see them coming out with much. I guess it will depend on how Zidane sets them up, I guess this will be his first big game?

Marcelo, Bale and possibly Modric and Carvajal are out. You'll be having both flanks unmarked and you won't have any resistance, be it defending or pressing, from both Ronaldo and Benzema. The question is not whether you'll score or not, the question is how many goals we'll concede.

I'd be content with a draw, but I honestly feel like we'll lose this one.

But Spalletti is also the coach that has knocked out Madrid before...

He did lose to United back then, but he also has Roma playing they aren't zombies anymore. Huge improvement in attitude and tactics. Roma still needs a lot of time to fix that backline, but with a full squad they can put on an exciting match. Perotti, El Shaarawy, Salah, Florenzi, Nainggolan and Pjanic (if he figures out his new role) can be great to watch.

Don't even care about this tie honestly. Not because we won't win it, but because qualifying for next year matters more and we're in real danger of that not happening. If we somehow get through, great for morale I suppose. If we don't, that's cool too since not having Europe honestly works better for us so that we can concentrate on taking 3rd away from Inter/Fio, who are ripe for the taking.

It's a matter of priorities. This one isn't the top one.

As long as we don't embarrass ourselves again, I'm good with any result.

Fio is in choke mode, Inter is so and so and Milan is Milan. You'll get that 3rd spot no problem, even if you're playing bad, you're the best out of a bad bunch.

I remember who Luciano Spalletti is. Capello is right, Madrid must be wary. Especially with recent injuries. Spalletti will not go down without a fight and I highly doubt he will have roma play for a draw.

Big test for Zidane. Unlike jokers like benitez or di matteo, spalletti is tactically adept. If Real madrid don't take this seriously, we'll see a repeat of the last time we faced Roma.

Yeah those games I'm not worried about. It's the Udineses, Palermos, Empolis, Genoas, and Atalantas that worry me. We win some of those, but lose some of those too, especially when we play to their level like we did in the last half-hour against Samp.

Fortunately, we tend to rise to the occasion against sides like Madrid (at least 1 leg anyway).

Just means he's not particularly close to any one player from our team. It's a bit of a loaded question honestly. I don't have an issue with his answer on second reading.

Not sure about ES as lone striker, doesn't have the skillset to operate in that role. He can finish thats for sure, positioning might be awkward though as he always likes to cut in and take a pot shot. At the very least, he will track back like a hound dog.
