Re: El clasico 15/16 Thread
That was just a game of pure tactical ignorance. Barcelona won by flooding the mf and having superiority in numbers in the attacking phase. Roberto and Alves both joined in and outnumbered Kroos and Modric. In the defensve phase Neymar and Roberto tracked their FBs and where below the halfway point whilst BBC where strolling in Barcelonas half when Madrid were defending.
I cannot solely blame Benitez for it. CR was useless as usual and missed a 1 vs 1 (2 if you count the offside post hit), Benzema was unfit and hadn't played a game in like 6 weeks, Bale is a circus monkey that looks out of his depth in La Liga. Benitez was under pressure from Ramos and CR to play an attacking line up and Perez as well. Then he took off Madrids only answer to Neymar and Messi, Hames their only fantasisti that was doing anything and brought on tunel vision Isco. Danilo was raped the whole game by Neymar and the Madrid FBs where constantly outnumbered.
hmmm....same problems last season, same problems under Mou...
All Madrid can pray for is Perez steps down (through his own decision or he becomes ill), the players decide to put their egos aside and do stop walking or bench CR and Bale and make Hames the focal point. Neither will happen.
I knew that once Messi came on Madrid would start creating chances. Roberto and Rakitic where doing double shifts and running and covering and oveloading the mf and channels. Messi destabilised Barcelonas structure immediately and he was walking (obviously unfit). The scoreline was about fair (maybe a manita would have been a more balanced scoreline) because Bravo made 3 monstrous saves.
All in all, in all the years Pepcelona smashed Madrid, this was the worst performance from any Madrid team in the Madrid Barca derby since Ronaldinho embarrassed Madrid in their own stadia.
When you're team makes Sergi Roberto look like Zico, it's time to call it a day...

That would have sufficed instead of wasting energy writing up a whole post.

I gave my opinion on the tactics as well and what I saw. Thanks for telling me how to conserve my energy though.

I doubt he said it, though I still want both of him and Rafa gone. And Florentino too.

Wouldnt surprise me if he said it. When Iker was here he was able to calm these primadonnas down. Ramos lol will join in with Ronaldo. He has already spoken out against Rafa before when Rafa criticised him for causing a penalty. This season is going to be loong

Re: El clasico 15/16 Thread
very possible that he said it, the relationship with rafa has been stated as rocky from the beginning. even when ancelotti was sacked you could tell if the new manager didn't have personality to him it would cause problems, seeing how guys really stood up for carlo when the decision was made. and i mentioned that in an earlier thread. see below

titosantill wrote:i'm not sure firing ancelotti is the answer. Yes, he's made a lot of bone headed moves, yes he's been a yes-man since he came (his inability to fight for di maria after all di maria did for us, and for him really bothered me), also, i'm not sure how much input he had, if any, when it came to signing james (its like he just went with flo on every decision, no disrespect to james, who's been alright), obviously there's the bale and rotation issue, as well as the formation and tactics.
However, why i'm not sure letting him go is the answer is because, the players like him, he has the confidence of most of the players, if not all of them and that really matters; i'm not sure how they'll warm up to yet another new coach, especially one such as klopp, who though very good, will have his own ideas and philosophies, its a testy issue here
also, after this failure, one would expect ancelotti to have grown some cojones and be able to tell flo what players he wants, and bench whoever he wants....i seriously doubt carlo is going to go a whole season without rotating like he did this year again after this fiasco, which now has our rivals in prime position to do a second treble....*bleep* carlo for that....but i'd rather he stayed, if not for anything, at least for stability

Re: El clasico 15/16 Thread
frankly, carlo's become almost like a martyr to the players, and considering they never wanted him gone, rafa, whose personality isn't really his strong point has been seen as villain...so it won't surprise me if this story was true....but you can never put it past the spanish media to make things up. that's what they do best, write fictional tales

Tbf Messi became the de-facto coach after that, and somehow I don't think CR's managerial skills are anywhere near Leo's.Clutch wrote:Didnt Messi say, "Enrique or me" last season? You guys will believe anything

Thats true. Coachessi couldnt help but sub himself in early just to get in on the action. Dont know if he approved of the Munir sub thoBarrileteCosmico wrote:Tbf Messi became the de-facto coach after that, and somehow I don't think CR's managerial skills are anywhere near Leo's.Clutch wrote:Didnt Messi say, "Enrique or me" last season? Just few days after MSN has been playing tough as nails qualifiers other side of the world, instead resting at their home like Real players. I love how subtle RFEF is.
You can actually get five houses betting Real RFEFdrid with one, and I have already taken steps for big investments. Easier than pressing money.
