You better make your peace with it now while you still can. If you're going to be living in denial, you'll get hit hard when the inevitable truth comes to surface.

Re: The Walking Dead III
My favourite episode of TWD....of all time. Loved it.
Glen didn't deserve to die in such a manner though I'm proper shocked at that. To be accidently dropped by that punk he should have killed earlier too, damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
That ending too. Poor rick. Proper intense cliffhanger.
Looking forward to next week's ep.

I like this show but it's just plain stupid how they confront the zombie menace. Glenn and Nicholas had a stair to climb atop the building, but they stupidly try to climb the fence to another ally infested with zombies.

Took lots of chances then.
I can imagine lots of options better than letting all those zombies run around freely. Why not put everyone on top of the trucks for a week and kill them with spears? They were a week building a fence they could have spent killing zombies.
If they can't reach you it's basically a mechanical job, and you could kill at least 5 zombies/minute, 300 zombies/hour or 2.400 a day. Put everyone at work and you clear it in a couple of days.
That truck was falling any second Rick made the point himself, imagine adding more weight on top of it.
Not the truck that was falling, the other two.

Damn, the more I think of that Glen death scene, the more I agree it was a very indecisive way to show him dying.
He better be dead. Kinell, be dead, Glenn. Be dead.

Like I said, we can all pretty much agree that it was a poor choice.
Another thing I also said, I'm pretty sure you and a few others will be raging by this time Monday.

Re: The Walking Dead III
GTFOOOOOOO. NO. NO. NO. No. Glen can't be dead.
Okay. Just watched the episode. Avoided spoilers like the plague this week.
Gaahhhh why the hell would the show put themselves in this situation. It's a lose-lose. On one hand you kill off Glen, who is top 3 character on the show. On the other hand you have him survive the un-survivable. There's no way any credibility can be given to the show if Glenn manages to survive that. What the hell would the explanation be?
And you know what else frustrated the hell out of me, this goddam show does it every episode. Rick turning off the ignition when the RV came to a stop. WHY? On what world does it make logical sense to turn off the ignition. Just leave it on ffs.

It's not like this guy is gonna wait there for an hour or even 20 minutes. He's got a herd of Walkers coming his way, the safest choice is just to sit there for a few seconds with the ignition on. Didn't he learn anything from the first 2 seasons where their RV kept stopping and not turning on

That was my immediate thought, too. That RV didn't have the best maintenance record to begin with. No way any sensible person would have turned it off just for a quick stop.
But anyway, that I'm willing to look through the fingers. What I'm not willing to look through the fingers is Glenn surviving in any way.

Re: The Walking Dead III
Btw do you guys remember in season 1 how the Walkers were much more intelligent than they are now. Picking up rocks to break windows, jumping fences etc The show runners really need to be more consistent. I suppose the only consistent thing has been their absolutely stupidity.
Turning off the goddam ignition. I just can't be okay with that.

Do people think the show would be better or worse if the zombies could run?

Re: The Walking Dead III
If they could run, then half the group would already be dead.
I raised the similar point to james a year ago or so when I was rewatching season 1. A walker was turning a door handle lol
Apparently the writers in season 1 wanted a different version of walkers however kirkman got rid of those ideas since it wasn't consistent with the comics.

It was actually Morgan's zombified wife too! I remember him even saying that the walkers were 'more active at night' or something like that. They had a couple traits they pinned on walkers like they could remember tiny things about who they were or that they had preferences for when they'd have active and dormant hours...
But they let go of those things pretty quickly. Didn't hear about them after that episode from any cast members, especially after season 1.

Walkers were completely wrong from the very beginning TBH. As someone involved in healthcare, it is very difficult for me to watch sometimes.

On the other hand it would give you more possibilities what you can do with them, from a writing point of view I mean.

True I suppose. There is always a possibility of walkers evolving.
Imagine walkers who could think. That'd be something

Re: The Walking Dead III
I think that would go too far from the whole zombie thing. If zombies could think wouldn't they be basically humans then? x)
But sometimes I wish the zombies could move faster. Not maybe sprint at full speed, but a little bit of running.

Jon Bernthal wanted zombie Shane to say "Riiiiiick" but directors said no. Imagine if that would happen

A zombified Usain Bolt would end the show in one episode.
