he's actually supposedly doing pretty well at mainz (watched some youtube clips of him scoring a tasty hattrick)

still looks like nothing to get excited over and 12m is like 8m too much lol (doubt they're legit rumors anyway)

It's a bit of a weird move if it happens. I'm not sure Newcastle really need him and on the other hand I would have thought Swansea needed him. Ki will be Swansea's only decent CM now. They probably have a replacement lined up already if they sell.

Liverpool Football Club have completed the signing of Steven Caulker on loan from Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season.

The relevant paperwork has been completed in time to allow the centre-back to be eligible for selection for Wednesday evening’s Barclays Premier League fixture with Arsenal at Anfield.

Caulker, who has Premier League experience as well as being capped by England, showed a willingness to commit to the Reds at short notice.

The 24-year-old’s arrival eases the injury situation the club are currently facing in defence, which includes both short and long-term absentees.

A better coach is the priority now.

Come off it lol, our team is shite outside of maybe 3 or 4 players max.

We have no playmaker, no pace, no DM, no width, no good fullbacks and no height in the back 4.

Our two forwards while have potential are very young and don't score very well. I don't rate McClaren at all but the team is awful.

I'm very glad about that. Didn't have Emery's confidence at all, couldn't get a run of games together and offered very little when he did play.

Now if they can hand Llorente back to Juve that'd also be good.

Caulker is your typical English grit and steel defender who isn't awful but is absolutely not better than average. Belongs at QPR, it's his level

You realize of course that it's a loan deal in a time of injury crisis, right?

Were they supposed to buy a world class centreback in January before Klopp even knows who fits properly into his team and who doesn't? or who will be healthy?

What are you judging Caulker's ability from anyway?
