Calabria reminds me of Lahm a bit.
Kucka is actually pretty good.
Bonaventura needs to be our LCM. He's really good at driving the ball forward from deep.

Solid half from us, i think this might be out best defence except for Antonelli in for MDS. Monty has been great in his defensive cover so far, as well as spraying the ball around. Kuco, very physical, great cover as well. Honda, better showing than last time but still lacking. LA not doing too good. Best players are Bacca, Jack and Calabria, Jack being the highlight player

I want to see Balo come on for Luiz Adriano.

Agreed, his size and his slide tackles so far have been very Lahm-esque

Zapata is a disaster waiting to happen. I want to see Ely given more chances but yeah for the time being at least, this does look like our best defence if you swap MDS for Antonelli.

I am happy to see the team carry on with the good performance against Inter (which I was happy about).

On Honda, I am actually happy about his performance. He passes well, and had some dangerous chances. More importantly, he is linking the midfield with the offense well, and is doing his job.

Bonaventura is great at driving the ball forward, so putting him in Honda's place would waste his best attributes. If we are going to play with this formation, then frankly, Honda is our best option in the AM role.

Montilivo is much better in this defensive position, and he is a disaster at AM. Poli is no better, and Suso is unproven.
