Have to consider the circumstance though. Rakitic was a signing nobody expected anything of and by comparison was a small fee.

Pogba wouldn't be afforded the same luxury.

Just want a stupid fee for him, almost certain we'd benefit from it. Midfield would still be one of the best, but we could afford to buy some game changers in attack which is what we've missed since the likes of ADP got old. Tevez was the closest we've came to that but still nowhere near that level.

he will still be a good player for them though, at the end of the day, he wont flop, i dont see how that can even happen.

You seem to think this Pogba deal will make or break us in Europe, but the fact is we could still keep the same squad we have now for another season and win 90 something % of the time.

Also remember we were once promised Becks during a presidential election, and we didn't land him. We turned around and got Ronaldinho instead and well.....the rest is history. Hence I'm not worried about landing Pogba or not, our clubs structure is safe, and has continued to evolve. If we don't land Pogba we might end up signing someone else that will compliment our system, just how we got Rakitic.

According to a close friend Arda Turan already has a new club and that club will make an announcement shortly. Most likely Barcelona
