Liverpool in talks to sign Joe Gomez from Charlton, according to Sky sources.

We understand Brendan Rodgers' side are yet to make an official approach, but there is strong interest in 18-year-old centre back.

Arsenal, Aston Villa and Man City Spurs have also been watching Gomez, who Charlton value up to £7million.

Liverpool really going for world class players in this transfer window. milner. then ings. then that ginger keeper nobody knows. and now this.

Hysaj,Valdifiori,Allan,Saponara.Potentially Darmian and Immobile as well.

They'd become a solid side if they manage to secure these targets and keep Higuain at the club as well.

Most of them were already on loan at Valencia, they just purchased them outright.

Oscar was doing fine until January, one of our best players. Then his form went down completely, nothing to do with Mou and his system.

If he spends the summer working on his physical condition, and getting stronger(muscle) he will be up for his best season.

Oscar is going nowhere, Mou is betting extraordinary things from him next season. Hopefully his first summer break will do him a lot of good.

Valencia have been making signings based on their connections with Mendes.Their sporting director can hardly take the credit for their signings.Not to mention Valencia have produced some quality young talents from their youth academy.

Sevilla on the other hand are doing a good recruiting job but i believe when you have less money,thats when the skills come out.It applies to certain teams in Italy too.
