Massimiliano Allegri appreciation thread
Seeing as this man is a revolutionary genius, a king of football etc, It's only right that he has an appreciation thread on GL seeing as the only other legitimate thread about him is about his time at Beelan.
This man took a team that was underperforming badly in Europe and had nothing left to prove in the league, he dealt with an injury crisis, had no time to work with Beppe Marotta in the Summer and joined a club who's fans almost exclusively did not want him any where near Juve.
Give this man the respect he deserves. He's up there with the GOATs like Lippi, Sacchi and Pardew.

All hail Max.Allegri
No more doubt about this man tactical intelligence...we have made a 180 degree change on European football.
First season with Juve...won the Serie A without even giving Roma a chance to challenge his team,we are at Coppa Italia final and now CL final
Thank you EuroMax

Re: Massimiliano Allegri appreciation thread
I think Allegri has a real talent for setting his team up against better opposition.
His weakness has always been reacting to changes in a game, as well as mishandling players. While I still see signs of the former, he has increasingly been better with player side.
He looked to have learned from his mistakes in Milan, and I predict he will continue to get better in the future.

Re: Massimiliano Allegri appreciation thread
People were too attatched to Conte, Max was following up a fairytale story
Ex legend player comes to a club in mid-table, wins 3 league titles in a row with them etc etc. Too much emotion.

Re: Massimiliano Allegri appreciation thread
I stuck by Allegri longer than most Milan fans. I did turn on him after December of last year I think. I was pissed at him for no longer caring. I think he just lost motivation and will after Berlusconi tired his hardest to get rid of him the summer and replace him with Seedorf despite finishing 3rd under incredible odds. He knew he was not appreciated and just lost it. He is a great coach, really good at setting up his team for more talented opposition. He is still weak in subs though. It will be interesting to see how he approaches a one of final, I think the only final he had before was against Inter in Italian Super Cup. He has shown his strength in two legged ties but is still an unknown quantity in a one off final.

Re: Massimiliano Allegri appreciation thread
Apparently, Pirlo and EruoMax not good for 11th placed Milan but good enough to be in CL final

Did what any coach worth their salt could do to win Juve the Serie A title, but getting them to the CL final for the first time in 12 years is all Max
