Re: Bayern Munich: Bundesliga champions 14/15
Congratulations FC Bayern for becoming Bundesliga Champions for the second time after 1976!
This marks the first time in history that both the men and women of the same club won the Bundesliga. The women even got their BL title without conceding any defeat.

By the way, even though Bayern did an invincible season, they only had 1 point more than runners-up VfL Wolfsburg who had a pretty good season themselves, too.

Well, Bayern were lucky that Wolfsburg and Frankfurt played a 1:1 draw on the last matchday. If either had won, the winner of that tie would have been Bundesliga champion.

Re: Bayern Munich: Bundesliga champions 14/15
1. The only good thing about the Bayern dominance to the neutral, or Bayern hater, was the aesthetic quality of their football, and the 2nd degree benefits to the NT. All that is gone with Peps snoozefest of an ancient system that just doesn't work anymore in modern football, and even less with the rigidity of how he envisions it. Bayern have become boring to watch, play the NT players less, and are far more beatable than they were under Heynckes. There's nothing to like about Pep at Bayern, and a lot to dislike.
Add to that the grovelling hype to a guy who's, before Bayern, only coached one team, while we have a surplus of decent managers in the Bundesliga that achieved a lot with very limited funds, which is far more impressive to me.
2. Since my family's team is fighting relegation in the 2nd flight, in the Bundesliga I support Eintracht Frankfurt, because while my family is for the most part from the north, I was born in Frankfurt, and raised near Frankfurt for most of the time I spent in Germany (we moved around a lot).
Also I assume you meant me with "Visa" because I read "Viva" at first.

If Frankfurt defeat PSG on Thursay, Germany will have 3 clubs in the Champions League (Bayern+Wolfsburg already qualified as champion and runner-up)

BTW my loyalties might be even more divided in the future - Darmstadt 98 looks set to earn promotion. Love those guys.

Don't say that, St. Pauli are still very firmly set on course for relegation to the 3rd division...

why's that Viva? Doesn't seem that long ago a relegation play off showdown HSV-Pauli was well within reach.

Re: Bayern Munich: Bundesliga champions 14/15
Because we're broke, and we suck. No confidence, massive holes in our squad, no solidity, and frankly, we haven't had a decent coach since Stanislawski.
What we need now are a couple defensively solid players, and a roughhousing park-the-bus manager. Stabilize in mid table for a season or two. After that we can look towards promotion again. I still rue our 1st league season. IMHO with one more proper striker we would've stayed up. Had a really functioning midfield back then, but we don't any more. Just look at us. We're just a parade of stupid ways to give away the ball, yet we still try to play pretty. We shouldn't. We stayed close to promotion for many seasons by being gritty and should stick with that. We don't have the funds to hold on to technical players.

The Frontzeck days weren't glory days. Sad, too, that Hoffenheim didn't give Stanislawski a proper chance, not that he did outstanding work or anything, but they were selling the best players out from under him, just like they did when Rangnick quit for that very reason.
