Two good goals in the first 45 minutes, a pity they weren't both ours.

Hopefully Gerrard gets subbed off by the 60 minute mark. I don't even think he's been particularly bad, but I'd much rather play anyone more mobile in that role. It's like Sterling and Coutinho have to make plays by themselves when Gerrard just isn't motion wise in the same wavelength.

Also, Moreno is once again disappointing, imo. I'd bring Johnson on for him.

So much for sending Gerrard off with the FA cup trophy.

What a shitty season. And things were set up on a plate for us in every competition. A top-4 finish was up for grabs with only Chelsea having been convincing throughout. Didn't face any big teams in the FA cup. Basel and Ludogorets in the CL group. Besiktas in the EL last-32. Yet we came up short on each occasion. F...ing shambles.

Good player, nice lad...never ever fit to captain a side aspiring to challenge for big trophies.

When chips are down, he always hides. He's all present when the game is going well, but when it's time to stand up and be counted, he isn't. I barely even noticed him playing yesterdy.
