The key, once again this season, will be for us to convert our chances into goals.

will Gerrard be on the bench for this one? or is he still not fit enough to be placed on there?

Could actually see Carroll playing. He's started a lot away from home (more away than home games) and with a game on Wednesday, could see him feature.
Not too sure with Stevie. He's only got back from the Middle East and hasn't had a training session with us yet. So probably not.
Hoping Shelvey comes on. Only one at the club with scoring form atm.

Gonna be the first LFC game I'm able to watch since the beginning of December!
Great for us that Agbonlahor is out, a couple of goals and we should have the points in the bag. Expecting a goal from Hendo :p

Re: Aston Villa v Liverpool | 1405GMT | Sunday |
I've got to thank my stars that Gabby Agbohlohaorosdureor (lol nish) is out as I highly rate him.
Players we will have to watch out for are N'zogbia (although he sucks atm), Albrighton and Emile the Finesse Heskey.
But seriously...
4-1-2-3
Doni
Kelly/Johson-Agger-Skrtel-Jose
Aurelio
Adam-Hendo
Bellamy-Suarez-M-rod
No Downing as usually players playing for the first time against their old club fail. Carroll even to my liking is playing shitty as well as the fact that we are more fluid with Maxi.
Aurelio probably won't play but I want him at the DM/sweeper position while the Hendo-Adam combo distribute and make darting runs into the box.
Not much else as I simply hope our player track back to help the defensively weak midfield if there is no DM or defensive minded mid.
I predict a tie but I've gotta say: THIZ IZ A MUST WINSZZZZ!!!

We completely bossed this game....Proud of the lads, we could've won by 5 or more goals had we been lucky. Good three points

Villa stood no chance, I don't know whether it's the players or McLeish but that club isn't performing as well as it has been in recent years.
I'm expecting Wigan to put up more of a fight, though.

TBH, I thought Villa were awfully nervous. It's always good to have Hesky in the opposing team
