I'll be the club mascot.
Also are we seriously renaming club to GL Toon?

No. That can be the name of the consortium. We are not scumbag owners who rename the club and change its colors.
We don't deal with Tigers and Dragons and rubbish like that. I veto any such idea.
Newcastle United Toons F.C. ffs. Ruining traditions

I would propose myself as director of Catalan Independence operations for Newcastle United.

I like Wilkin's generally, but Willian?
Better than Essien?

Willian isn't even better than Damien *bleep* Duff.

Robben for Chelsea was utter kak. Also, where's Zola? Surely you can sacrifice Willien for Zola?

Talking about more important things, GL consortium would need BC to find us the new Santiago Muñez

Good call. BC can focus on next Messi. I will focus on the Asian burgers and kebobs

But, but, but, he's not supposed to celebrate like that!

The only acceptable way for him to celebrate is to do the cha-cha while eating doritos.

Willian is obviously a provocative / hipster choice. I'm also not sure about Robben, I don't think he would be in the XI if it wasn't for the things he's done after leaving Chelsea. Not sure who'd be in his place, though. Malouda? Ballack?

Other options to Robben would be Duff, Anelka or Mata. I am fine with Robben, though.

Who says you have to replace him with a winger? Also, no love for Malouda? Robben was at Chelsea for three seasons and while Malouda's last few years at Chelsea were forgettable-to-embarrassing, he had great three seasons earlier, better than Robben's three, imo.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
I think people have forgotten how good Robben was for Chelsea, he's a shoe in for that team.
Unlike today he was actually versatile as he would consistently wreck teams inside and outside. Not even a debate that he should be there.

I still have nightmares of Robben sprinting down the right wing dribling Van Bonckhorst and Gerard at a lighting speed, leading counter after counter against Barça in 2005.

Yeah I think Robben has flown under the radar for a long time. He's always been a gem; I think people think he just suddenly became this great player when he went to Bayern which isn't true.

Meh. Not that I watched football as much in the mid noughties as I do now, but I don't think Robben was that amazing for Chelsea. Then again Chelsea haven't had that many great wingers, so maybe he deserves to be in that XI.
