Ulloa scored.
Brentford leading, WHile Wolves and Derby are losing. So Brentford jump from 8th to 6th. Unreal.

Newcastle should have kept Pardew until the end of the season

Ipswich are indeed coming up short, losing 3 - 1. Brentford are winning, so they'll overtake them. However, Derby are rather incredibly losing 0 - 1 to Reading, but they only need to draw to overtake Ipswich and leave them out of the play-offs.

Whether I agree with it or not, fact remains we didn't get rid of him he left of his own accord.

Basically the NUFC thought was " carpe diem" . It didn't would have happened another time a club 'd have got rid you of Pardew's contract
But Carver was awful even for just 6 months . If they had 3-4 points less they were going to do same end than Sampdoria 2010-2011

Holy shit, Reading score to lead 0 - 2 at Derby
A draw would be enough for Derby to secure a play-off spot and Reading haven't won in 9 games. This is some bottle job by Derby if they can't get that draw.
Derby were top of the table on 23rd February.

Newcastle
Carver is just enjoying the paycheque. This team looks like it hasn't trained once this season.

Ooh, it's Derby nil, Reading three and the Rams drop out of the play-off spots in the final round
And Sheffield Wednesday have equalised at Watford, meaning that Bournemouth are winning the title as things stand.

Bournemouth are champions
And there's going to be the East Anglian Derby in the play-offs, Norwich v Ipswich
Middlesbrough v Brentford the other pair. Fantastic stuff!

Newcastle are a disaster. Those players don't deserve PL status. 8th straight defeat and a GD of -25.
Awful team.

Agreed, our ownership treats the sport with contempt and get away with it year after year. We don't even try to compete just to exist.
It shouldn't be allowed to stand and relegation is exactly what we and especially the owner deserves. I'm hoping and praying for it personally, as it increases the likely hood of Ashley looking to sell.

I feel for the fans. Couldn't even boycott properly last week because they love the club so much. And this is how they are treated by the players, board, etc. No heart, no fight...nothing. Shameful.
You will just about avoid relegation, even though you don't deserve to, simply because Sunderland and QPR have a harder fixture list. Only reason.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V9
Blackpool fans have successfully got their game against Huddersfield abandoned after they staged an on-pitch protest. An idea for Newcastle fans, maybe
Newcastle were 17 points clear of Leicester in March. That gap is now only a point.
Sunderland and Villa win today and Newcaslte will be in deep shit.
