Well Stannis would burn her, Ramsay would flay her. So I agree. Interesting to see if she did hang herself because of Shireen or because Stannis dies in Ep10. Many people think Brienne will kill him... though I think that's bs. Imo it would be just stupid to kill him atm so I guess it's because of Shireen.

Well at the very end of E9, Selyse finally seemed to wake up to the fact that Shireen is her daughter, so hanging herself out of grief seems appropriate if depressing.

Also agreed with Dante that there's no way Brienne will kill Stannis. Announcing your intentions so far in advance means things never work out as you expect. It doesn't mean it can't happen as we'll likely see Arya get Trant but how different the journey was to what she expected. I don't think Brienne will die, though it is a possibility but it's more likely that she ends up having to aid Stannis instead in order to achieve her main goal of protecting Sansa.
