Soccer for Mac Empty Soccer for Mac

Does anyone know of a soccer game for Mac? All I can find is, I think Fifa 12, but it is no longer available.

I want a soccer game to play!

I don't feel like buying an XBox or Nintendo. I want to play on my computer when I am supposed to be working.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I guess Playstation 4 is out of the question, then? Razz The football/soccer games that are available in the app store are pretty bad. Steam might be worth checking out, though.

I have a few good shooter and RPG games on my macbok, but not having a proper, responsive mouse really takes away from the enjoyment of playing them. I have a coordless Apple mouse, that I bought thinking it would at least be responsive and accurate enough to not make playing FPS games a frustrating experience, but MAN, it's so unresponsive that I completely gave up on playing Mac games altogether.

The mouse has been gathering dust on a shelf for about 2-3 years now, but you just reminded me that there probably are better alternatives out there. Do you have any tips? It doesn't have to be coordless.

Well, I guess I could get a Playstation 4. I just don't know if I want another appliance around the house!

I have a MacBook Pro with a trackpad and haven't used a mouse in years. I played around with one of the Fifa games on my iPad but that didn't feel right. I guess you really do need a mouse or controllers to play these games properly. I had a Steam account at one point but never bought anything.

Afraid I don't really have any tips. Maybe I'll look into Playstation, and then that will be another appliance in the living room, along with the Apple TV, the Blu-Ray player, etc.

My wife is going to groan.

Yeah, I can see how having lots of appliances lying around may not be so popular with the missus, not to mention all of the mess and space they take up with cables and whatnot.

The PS4 has both a built-in Blu-Ray player and a DVD player, though. So, unless you already have an expensive Blu-Ray player, you may want to consider replacing it with the PS4 - which plays Blu-Rays, DVDs and games.

I've hardly ever used Steam, myself. The only game I've bought through Steam was The Stanley Parable for IOS - a game that didn't really impress me that much, despite some of my colleagues claiming that it was oh-so-great and unique and all.

Anyways, I did notice that Steam has quite a few IOS-based games that aren't available in the App Store, which I'll probably check out once I get my hands on a proper mouse for my Macbook Pro.
