I've expressed my opinion about new signings , Milan must try for two players meant for the starting XI , one at CM and a CF. Despite this obvious case , having one shot all game and that would be the penalty, is absolutely ridiculous. But anyway , subs are most always a bonus , or if you want , one of the minor reasons as to why a team doesn't win/draws a game . You rarely see a coach lose games because of his subs. And subs have to do with bench material as well , however i do agree tonight his subs were strictly defence-all-in , by the time we conceded everybody knew we wouldn't score another.

In the end , i am much more concerned with stuff like us failing to produce some calm when in possesion , especially away from home ;
stuff like Ses being heavily benched , MDS having his worst season ;
being heavily dependant on Menez , to the point Torres wanted to leave months after he came ;
we don't even play ugly football , we don't seem willing to play at times ;
bs like Pippo saying we get nervous , wtf is this? Nervous? If they are not confident , someone should really tell him , it's because they don't really believe in his ideas , his ideas they will bring into the game.

A coach can go without delivering results for a period of time as long as the team shows signs of improvement along the lines of some sort of philosophy. What we have seen with Inzaghi so far is no discernible style of play and no consistency in approach. We're over halfway through the season and the football is as ugly as ever. There's no tendency to exploit short passing, crosses, pace, wingers, overlapping full backs, etc. In other words, when a Milan player gets the ball, fans don't know what they're going to do with it - and neither does the player. There is no clear framework or system for the players to operate within and the team is suffering as a result.

The system should be king. No one player should be above the system. It's the coach's job to design this framework and to implement it. How would I describe Inzaghi's performance in this regard? A failure on both counts.

If there is some sort of direction this team is heading in, it's certainly not obvious to me.

A fine post , i agree. Although , we may have not exactly dominated anyone this season , there were positives in games , especially early on . Later on our performance in defence begun a freefall and i guess , he's been focusing the team on defending better , which has become significantly apparent lately . Other than that , which isn't that much to begin with , yes i completely agree tbh. At this point it's hard to tell what's the plan , again , i thought he was all about countering opponents but that's just not worth saying anymore. We are really bad when it comes to the football we play and that's been happening in many games . Won't even mention some of his player choices lol.

We must remain patient , though . We can't be judging prematurely , despite the signs. Which are definitely not that satisfying .

I am rapidly losing confidence in Pippo. No cohesion offensively, no coordination defensively, half the team either doesn't want to defend, or hasn't been given any defensive responsibility. We have yet again failed to capitalize on favorable results around the league. These are sad times for us. It's like seeing an old, toothless lion. All roar but no bite. Sad times indeed.

Pippo is a noob. I don't know better , nor i think i know better. No one here really knows better than him . But he's a noob and he makes too many mistakes , otherwise we wouldn't observe all of this . We wouldn't have this opinion in the first place.

The management doesn't have any illusions as to whom they've placed the fortunes of this team . It's just their scapegoat-plan to avoid answering for their lack of willingness to invest in the team. It's just their yes-man who will never really ask for the changes that must be made and will work with what's given to him. Seedorf was supposed to be that man , turns out Seedorf wanted to actually change stuff and he got the sack. But this isn't about Seedorf.

I've said last season that our problem wasn't Allegri , that despite his mistakes and all that , he wasn't even near one of our main issues and that he was being made the scapegoat. A year later , Allegri sits at the top of Serie A and we do just as bad(more or less) and with a better team than what he had. But this isn't about Allegri.

It's about those who run Milan . Building a team of mostly mediocrity without intentions of getting world class players and giving the nod to a noob coach to lead us to the CL , just so we can exist in it , without serious ambitions , is all their doing . And i don't think for a second they are so delusional , it's just Berlusconi who doesn't want to do his one job , help the team with money . That is it.

Under this light , albeit i do want CL football . It's pretty meaningless if we are into the CL even. I mean , Milan isn't Bate Borisov , or Celtic , or 99% of the teams who participate in the CL. Milan's canon used to be part of the 1% elite . Compare that to get 3rd place and be in CL . What's the point? Just money , so Berlusconi will have to pay even less. They don't work for Milan to get back to competing for the CL , they work for Milan just to be in it , not even as champions , but through 3rd place.

eerr.. no matter how bad Inzaghi is . No matter how bad Seedorf was , or Allegri. No matter what quality we have left , or how mediocre and bad we are atm. The real , true reason we are this bad is this hypocritic management. When they automaticaly exlude world class players and adressing the true issues , just because it will cost , yeah , and they claim our ambition is to be protagonists with Menez-Pazzini , or with Inzaghi trying his whatever ideas that he's trying anymore.. they are just hypocrites and they lie to our face. I am not satisfied with Inzaghi , but when i understand all this.. yeah , despite my complains he's not Milan's main problem and all..

the very fact we have a 2nd noob coach in a row is because the best coaches don't want to be in Milan , because they know what's happening. Even if they do sack Inzaghi eventually , which i very much doubt , they will get another similar kind of coach , yes-man who's not one of the best around. They can't even get any great coach with what they do . As you can see , Inzaghi is a problem only so much . Not to excuse him , lol no , but it's the truth and remains the same exact thing i used to say about Seedorf and Allegri before him.

No , you're not the only one Vibe . It will get obvious in the years to come , when Seedorf will be considered one of the best young coaches around and Milan will still be shit . I hoped Inzaghi would prove better , i really did .. But he clearly hasn't . I don't know if Milan was right to hire Seedorf so soon in the first place , but sacking him for the reasons they did was fataly wrong and the most disgracefull thing i've ever seen Milan do to one of their own.
