Does this make Kroos the first and only player to play in and win both the World Cup and Club World Cup in the same year?

Don't know. But he's the first player to ever win it back to back.

Re: FIFA Club World Cup Final: Real Madrid - San Lorenzo
Just found out Viggo Mortensen had some harsh and prophetic words before the final:
We shouldn't let Ancelotti and the Real Madrid press provoke us. This highly respected Italian manager has been a little arrogant by saying that the reason Ronaldo didn't score against Cruz Azul is that "he is saving a goal for the final". The only reaction that such a comment deserves is to try to upset the Portuguese goal-scorer in the final. If they mark the Real No.7 well, maybe upset his hairdo a little in the first fifteen minutes of the game, it will be enough for him to have one of his frequent poor performances in the big games.

Well not really, when the guy flops CL-final, Copa-final, both Clasicos, World Cup, it isn't hard to see that he will flop Club World Cup final. And it's not hard to see that Real Madrid still had the quality to win these games.

And he calls us fanboys . At least we actually support our team rather then supporting just a player.

Maybe he thought that Ronaldo was just as invisible as Messi was that game and actually played

Question for BC. Why were some argie medias so bitter towards us after we cracked san lorenzo? Even riquelme had to speak up about how barcelona can beat us anytime and such...

Because we are butthurt and the FCWC is a big deal in South America. The San Lorenzo team has basically been preparing for it for 6 months.
