A well deserved loss for the capital city of Italy tbh. A mouth full of rubbish is reflected on the field.
this is very unneeded, Roma hate us yes, but really I don't think we should mock them.....

Re: Champions League/Europa League Campaign 2014-2015 Thread
i saw it coming but a bit worse than what i thought, first half was ok even though we had gervinho on top alone and Totti mostly out of the game from a good cover by mangala( how i missed yaya toure), keita was being murdered by nasri, fair enough 0-0 could see us through, with arrival of silva and jovetic the pressure on keita the balance in center went to city's favor and we conceded both through middle.
garcia's subs only made the matter worst, as iturbe was helping city more than anything and destro, gerv, iturbe only works in fifa 15.
Yes we hate juventus as they run by a criminal that should be in the lock, RIP Edoardo agnelli

Re: Champions League/Europa League Campaign 2014-2015 Thread
We have drawn Feyenoord in the EL R16.
They are 4th in the Eredivisie and have scored 41 goals and allowed 18 which isn't far off from the 48 we've scored and the 15 we've allowed.
A lot can change between now and February, but I like our chances in this one if we take this seriously...especially away from the Olimpico.

Not at all.
They are a pretty decent side from what the numbers tell me. I don't know much about their footballing style, but they have some good players (Strootman was one of their youth players) and sit in a respectable part of the Dutch table.
I think they'll be a worthy challenge for us, but I do think we have more quality.

Re: Champions League/Europa League Campaign 2014-2015 Thread
Feyenoord are the sleeping giants of Dutch football right now. They have played the best of any of the big three this year (PSV, Ajax, Feyenoord) and if not for probably bad luck or undeserved results they'd be fighting with PSV for the title (Ajax do not deserve that, they have been atrocious this year really). They really dominated Ajax in their most recent fixture, though Ajax were missing the heart of their team in Klaassen.
At first when I saw the draw I thought Feyenoord were unlucky because they have a strong team and should be able to do well in Europa, but at the same time if Roma underestimate them they will be the unlucky ones. Feyenoord are not a walkover.

another shit show
we drop back to protect the lead which is understandable, Just watching Mbiwa play is equal to watch a dark comic show. Where i don't know if i have to laugh or get upset. Defense is still leaking and attack with Totti is alright given the chances and doumbia

No impetus, no energy and no grinta.
This was our chance to take a healthy result with us to the Netherlands, but now Feyenoord have their away goal.
This is what happens when we treat a European tie like a Serie A tie against a provincial side.

A.S ROMA Starting XI: Skorupski; Torosidis, Manolas, Yanga-Mbiwa, Cholevas; Keita, De Rossi, Pjanic; Ljajic, Totti, Gervinho
FEYENOORD ROTTERDAM Starting XI: Vermeer; Karsdorp, Boulahrouz, Kongolo, Nelom; Clasie, Woudenberg, El Ahmadi; Toornstra, Kazim-Richards, Vilhena
------------------------
Pjanic and Keita just don't work for me. Both play it far too safe with their passing. Big reason why we're going to struggle to create clear cut chances.

The right team went through honestly. I agree with the curva's sentiment, but I don't agree with their actions. They went too far....as usual.
