Re: Should Pep be sacked if Bayern don't win the CL this season?
I know Bayern bought not too few players (for example you could add Neuer aswell) from rivals but he was talking about buying them and putting them on the bench. Only two of your list (Rode, Piza) sit on the bench and not only is one of them 36 but both came from clubs that certainly have nothing to do with competing for the title.
Thing is people claim Bayern just buys these players from their top rivals to weaken them but that's just bs. They didn't get Lewandowski, Neuer or Götze to weaken the opponents but because they improve the team and it'll be the same with Reus once they'll buy him.

Any time they buy somebody like Mandzukic, Pizzaro, Rode, Dante etc whether or not they are a starter they are weakening the rest of the league. What's harder, beating a team with their best 1/2 players or a team without? Bayern could field their second team and still walk the league. That means they can give far more attention to the CL than other top clubs can.

Those players were going to leave regardless. Lewandowski was going to go rather it be Bayern or somewhere else. Gotze was eventually would've left, hell their own youth product Reus wants out, soon Hummels will go, Kagawa and Sahin already left (well are back now) so what difference does it make? There going to get weak regardless, while Bayern will remain the same. Would Bayern rather lose out on these quality players and let the rest of the European power house get strong, or take them into their squad?

I'm not saying they shouldn't do it. I'm arguing that they are far stronger than their domestic rivals and because of that have an advantage in the CL. The same way a team not in the CL has it alot easier in their domestic league.

what a pile of BS.
A team that is not in the CL has it easier in the league because THEY DON'T HAVE TO PLAY 90 MINUTES MIDWEEK AND TRAVEL.
You're not seriously going to tell me we have it easier in the CL because we're facing Mainz or Hannover on a weekend and not Tottenham or Leicester. Those games are not easier. they just aren't.

Are people serious. Like really?
"Oh they're buying players that strengthen them to give them the best opportunity to dominate their league" WELL DUH, that's what transfers are normally there for.
Let's see Chelsea, City, Madrid and Barcelona etc sign players from the Coca Cola Championship to make it "fairer" for the rest of their respected league. Why must the best teams buy the best players for them to make it unfair for the rest of us.

Summary of the discussions here can be : Bundesliga is a one team league and there need no special coach or attention to win this therefor CL is all Pep has to prove himself successful here....

Bayern wont ever fire Pep; it'll be more Pep resigning if Pep leaves Bayern.
