Why don't we start a couple of 'cool' threads already!?

Xavi and barça = the best. You = sore loser.
Heh...you edited your post. Its so sad that you try to trick people this way. Oh well, trying to cheat your way just like your team I suppose

Where did I say that Real Madrid are clean? I said they are worse, but Xavi and co. did not "play football" either. You attacked more, scored more and passed more than a team that was out to butcher you. Well done, but that still isn't football if you act like pussies every time you detect a white shirt on your radar.
2) Diving is never justified, but if that is what you convinced yourself in order to clear your team's name, then go ahead but don't expect anyone else to agree with you.
3) I said that Xavi is right, but he is being hypocritical because Barcelona were not out there to play football, which is also true. Lionel Messi said it best, the matches were disgraceful to both teams. The fact that Barca came out with more trophies means very very little

wow what happened to you
i am not up for a discussion now but one question though
you were mostly in your own section in the old forums even when things like these were discussed what happened
are you trying to change the happy mood already, 2 days havent even passed by yet
relax, dont stir things up already
wait until next clasico when we will all be fired up and up for debate, petty insults like these will prove juicy just saying

Wow, its just amazing how all the victory in the past few years have turned Barca so bloody arrogant. I simply cant imagine one of ours ever saying this, or any of the shit that Xavi and co say on a regular basis.
Anything I forgot? Oh, yeah. Xavi is humble and respectful.

Both played terrible we played rugby but they cheated. Xavi is in no position to say we played anti-footy. I would change both Real Madrid and Barcelonas style if I could go back.

I edited 30 seconds after I posted and 4 minutes before your reply. You can clearly see that, you jackass.
Anyway, the meaning was always that.
Iceman = Sore loser.
It must be hard to see that everyone that matters in world football (players, coaches, ex-players, pundits, journalists) side with Barça unanimously, while only the sore losers and Madrid fans press are in the other side.
So all of them = suck it.

Doesn't matter when you edited it, the point is that you didn't realize who Bergkamp was, making you and your opinions of little importance to most people here

How can anyone disagree? One team played football, the other obtained the record for most fouls in a single game in CL history.

Re: Xavi: "Real Madrid wanted to destroy football"
In xavi's case, football = barca. What he meant to say is Real Madrid wanted to destroy barca.
He's right.

Silly thread, i'm getting tired of all this my football > your football from barca players, they should just concentrate on their own style and let others have their own individual idea of, how to play the game.

Re: Xavi: "Real Madrid wanted to destroy football"
I actually appreciate Xavi's arrogance, its good to see that he is passionate and willing to speak his mind when somebody asks him about it. Honestly, how tired do we as fans get when all players say is "i'd like to thank the opponents, blah blah blah". You all know that all teams will have conversations about stuff like this in the locker room, so why hide it from the press? I say own your opinions.

There is nothing wrong with your own opinion.
But when it reaks of hypocrisy as Xavi's comments seem to always do, then it gets annoying and quite pathetic.

Hypocrisy? When have Barca ever played a game with the intention to destroy the opposing team's football?

Re: Xavi: "Real Madrid wanted to destroy football"
Honest question Alfred:
Would you consider diving and trying to get opponents sent off as "proper football" ? Because I don't
Thats where the hypocrisy comes in. Acting like the little Angel while Barca were just the lesser of 2 evils during those 4 matches.

Destroying the opposing teams football can be applied to many different aspects.
Some may consider that Barcas style of football is detroying football, along with the play-acting.

I don't see the hypocrisy. Sure, his opinion is biased, I'm not denying that. And I definitely wound't call him "humble and respectful". I'm just trying to point out the double standard we as sports fans have... we're constantly asking athletes their opinions on things hoping that they'll say something interesting, but when they say something we don't agree with we blow up.

Do I wish they didn't do it as much? Sure. But do I think every Barca player is a diver and that they dive much more often than every other team? Not at all.
