About Medel ... I hope to not watch him as BC in Italy.
I agree with Bergomi ( Sky Italy pundit , former Inter legend) , he can play in that role only in that perfect game system of Chile and WC is not so reliable as a league, but I have doubts he can excell also in Serie A there.
Rolando is not still reedemed . According Sky/Gazzetta we are close to do it, but we must take away a defender before in place of him ...  Sampdoria is on Campagnaro (it would be a return for him) and Genoa on Silvestre. Rolando was the best Inter defender by a mile last year , very important imo

Well if Mazzarri plans to use Medel in midfield,it kills the chances of Kovacic getting regular playtime even more.

I'd assume M'Vila/Guarin-Medel-Hernanes will be your starting midfield.

Only Juve ,Roma, and a couple other clubs voted against him if i'm correct.
16 out of 20 Serie A clubs voted for him.I guess majority of Serie A dint want 'change'.

Never seen a more disgustingly backward league in my life

Even the SPL tried to change things regularly.

We haven't a SS to brake the defences as Lavezzi did in its Napoli so we can't renounce to 2 quality players in midifeld as Hernanes and Kovacic, if we want to have more chance to create the game.

Anyway , knowing Mazzarri, he is capable to not do this and relying on Dodo'/Nagatomo - Jonathan to create chances Laughing

I hope to have problems of abundance anyway and it's ready to understand what he will do , for example M'Vila is not still fit , he wouldn't play now if the Serie A began imo

It's just a banter there's a firestorm raging out there

I don't know if Tavecchio is really racist. TBF it sounded as a gaffe. but he is anyway inadequate in that role. For many reasons. He seems a yokel unable to lead job, organization so important.
He didn't say only those racist sentences, he talked badly also about women . Richard Keys-esque.
But he didn't resign . He got even  the appointment . This is Italy basically

just a banter

Anyway it is not only Tavecchio is the problem . We should also ask how we got to Tavecchio.

The alternative was Albertini. Basically he got the role of vice-president because  he's well-connected, not for merits, and he resisted 9 years although the others resigned . He also represented nothing.

This is the real problem of Italian football. I would have preffered RealGunner even if he is English , probably he would have more ideas about what doing

If Mazzari sticks to his word and plays with 4 men at the back we can fit all of Medel, Mvilla, Hernanes and Kovacic in the same formation, but judging by our preseason there will be some kind of rotation depending on the match and the opposition. Kovacic will probably get less playing time than everyone else, but we're playing in 3 competitions so hopefully he will get a lot of minutes. If Guarin leaves then he'll be fine.

Step 1. Do *bleep* all about anything

Step 2. Moan about Italian economy

Step 3. Proceed to do *bleep* all about Step 2.

Step 4. Introduce a policy that does nothing for anybody

I don't know really , in Italy we aren't used to listen the politicians' ideas,  because we know already that they will not respect to 100%.
we did an exception  just for Renzi because he promised something of extremely concrete -  80 euro  more on salary every month  - and infact he was voted in 20 regions on 20 Laughing
for football it is same thing basically, he said the usual things about  defeating the violence at stadiums , or promote youth football etc.  I listen the same things since 20 years.

That is where Italia as a whole will fail until the senior and now bitter padroni continue with the old ways to which despite their wisdom, does not work in an Italia to which is having a population crisis (under population) and a large gap between the youth and elders. Until the last two generations do not completely replace the league let alone country will not move at desired pace, Berlusconi a critical component of a slump to which could have been EASILY avoided.

In Calcio all we see are Ancelotti, Capello, Tavecchio, Galliani, Moratti, and even trust fund baby Agnelli moaning and complaining about these facets yet doing *bleep* all to add their contribution aside from their own vested interests.

Calcio need a united front and a giant kick in the ass to combine like Bundesliga post 2002 and streamline a more efficient and marketable product. We cannot live on the coattails of our untapped natural talent and high resource production alone.

Old wine and friends improve with age yet there must be an underlying product to reproduce an even better produce. Interdipendenza Interdipendenza Interdipendenza e unita

Agreed with Arq, Italy need travel back in time to 2002 and stop Germany from getting together and sorting everything out.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Serie B Could Lose Sponsorship Deal

Serie B clubs could lose out on almost €2 million of sponsorship money as Eurobet look unlikely to renew their deal.

Over the past two seasons Serie B have had agreements with Bwin and subsequently Eurobet but it looks as if the league will go into the 2014/15 season with no title sponsor.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, a change in the upper management of the betting company has resulting in focus elsewhere and they don’t deem Serie B a good investment given they don’t yet know who will be competing during the next season.

As a result the teams in Serie B will lose out on €1.7 million per season, while other sponsors such as NGM and Dacia, who have multi year contracts, may also decide to cancel these deals given the league’s state.

There are old words of months ago..

Anyway ... he is right TBH.
Mazzarri is probably the only manager in football history to boast because him team   shot more corner kicks than all last year . Yes, he said it really, to June. lol

His narrow-mindedness is shocking.  We will play with a defensive 3-5-1-1 even against Stjarnan , the Europa League play off.
