Milan's worst nightmare... Empty Milan's worst nightmare...

In 2001 Carlo Ancelotti was brutally sacked by Juventus after two unsuccessful and trophyless campaings.  Ancelotti was then hired in November 2001 to coach rival Milan.  Led by future legend Andrea Pirlo, who Ancelotti converted from an attacking midfielder to a "regista", Milan went on to win the Champions League the following year.

In 2014 Massimiliano Allegri was brutally sacked by Milan after a horrible season and an eventual 8th place finish.  Allegri was then hired in the summer of 2014 to coach rival Juventus.  The current legend Andrea Pirlo now plays for Allegri's Juventus in his favoured "regista" role.  Will history repeat itself??

If so then this will surely become Milan's worst nightmare...
