Re: Top 50 most valuable sports teams
Because Barcelona are that valuable.
Not a surprised. The list has been pretty much the same for quite some time. Bayern were below us though
But 5th most valuable football club
Our team values are enterprise values (equity plus debt) based on current venue deals (unless a new venue is pending). This includes commercial values along with others

from Forbes as per 1 day ago
list needs updating IMO
Wall Street now affords United an enterprise value of $3.6 billion. Math: market value ($3.05 billion) + long term debt ($613 million) – cash ($57 million). In April, we valued Real Madrid as the world’s most valuable team, worth $3.44 billion, with Barcelona second at $3.22 billion, and United third at $2.81 billion. wrote:

That Adidas deal with United was a pure traitors against Flo Perez. I think the Emperor will be furious. They valued United over Madrid. Look in the follow seasons if there's a swap between nike and adidas from Perez

That delusion and wishful thinking

You should worry about your sheikh's oil club going bust before imagining them replacing Utd in the Forbe's list.

Dallas Cowboys, Real Madrid and Man Utd in Forbes most valuable list
Manchester United have been ranked fifth in Forbes magazine's list of the world's most valuable sports teams.
NFL side, the Dallas Cowboys, are top with $4bn (£3.03bn), the first time a non-association football team has headed the business magazine's list since it began in 2011.
United, who topped the list in 2011 and 2012, are valued at $3.32bn (£2.52bn).
Real Madrid are second with $3.65bn (£2.77bn) and Barcelona third with $3.55bn (£2.69bn).
United - the only English club in the top 20 - saw a 7% increase in their value despite missing out on the Champions League after signing a £750m Adidas kit deal. However, the club have the highest debt load of anyone in the top 25.
Arsenal (23), Manchester City (28), Chelsea (36) and Liverpool (41) are the remaining English clubs to make the list.
The Cowboys, who made a record $270m (£205m) operating profit last season, are one of 27 NFL franchises in the list, while the Formula 1 team Ferrari have dropped out of the top 50 completely.

Re: Top 50 most valuable sports teams
I'm obviously proud of Real Madrid, but they should really think about renegotiating their kit and shirt sponsors deals. They are both too low for a club of Real Madrid's magnitude and prestige.

People really have a problem with United being there. Man United is one of the most powerful businesses in the world in the last 15 years if not more. But people always like to talk...
