Isnt Hazard now worth 35-40M? anyway, i dont think it's about how good they are now, but how good they will be tomorrow, and in that regard, Neymar has a higher ceiling. He is a bit more of a wild card, while you know what you get with Hazard, Neymar can reach place we dare not to dream of.

It's correct instinct to take a liking to Hazard tho, he is going to be one of the best in the game, and it's a safer bet.

Neymar is just allowed to play more freely and Brazilian league defenses are nowwhere near L1... Hazard is expressing himself in a much more structured environment.

Neymar's got more flash... otherwise, Hazard is actually the better player right now and has a very, very high ceiling himself. Being the L1 player of the year at his age was amazing.

It's like the Platini v Maradona rivalry in the mid 80s. One was a complete general while the other was a technical genius. Depends which one you prefer. I don't think one is better than the other frankly.

Czy i like Hazard, i like him a lot, but to me he is more reminiscent of a younger ribery for example. I think he will go way higher than him however. I wouldnt yet call him a midfield general as in your analogy to platini tho.

Does Hazard looki like he will be a great player, yes, it's the safest bet you can make, he can become one of the best european player of his Era, but there is an x-factor attached to Neymar imo, enough potential, flair and technique to make him one of the greatest.

Sounds a bit premature, but i think that's the kind of talent you cant overlook.

Hazard's a forward (Ozil style), not really a CM... i was making the analogy more to compare different styles, both of which can be very effective.

I also am a little concerned that we will have too many players that require the ball at their feet with Ozil, Sahin, CR7, Benzema and Neymar. You need players to do the dirty work too (running, defending, screening, etc.).

It's all part of the learning process, that part will be steeper for Neymar, but at the same time, Greatness comes with work, so if he gets that, he will shine.

Our forwards are aready learning that, Neymar will just follow. If even Ronaldo is tracking back, really no payer can have an excuse.

They don't play the same position Nick. Hazard is more of a playmaker than a scorer. He's a forward in the Ozil mode. Easily converted to AM. Neymar is a CR7 type player.... loves to show and score. They're not mutually exclusive imo.

I know, but we cant develop all the youth in football. Neymar is going to require a lot of attention already, benzema, ozil, ronaldo still a big dog, we cant sign every one.

The idea for me would go for a midfielder through and through, some one who can playmake from deep and would slot in a 433 seamlessly. We have enough forwards as it is.

Yeah... but i'm thinking Di Maria will want to leave if Neymar comes and Kaka is gone. Hazard and Neymar in place of Di Maria and Kaka sounds about right.
