Di Marzio wrote:Morata is closer and closer to Juventus. The complicated negotiation is on verge of being completed. Juventus will pay a €18M fee and they have reached agreement with the player. They also agreed with Real Madrid on the buy-back clause: €30M after the first year, €35M after the second year. It will expire after the third season, when Real will have a preemption on the player. The striker should arrive in Italy on Thursday.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
COST ITURBE: A COMPARISON WITH OTHER PURCHASES Bianconeri EXPLAINS EVERYTHING
Juventus work for the present and for the future. While pundits commenting on the burden of possible negotiations Iturbe and Morata, analysts assess the economic point of view the validity of the transaction Iturbe and that of the Spanish Morata and found that six of the two players will be able to confirm the good things done with Verona and see Real Madrid, then it will be a real bargain.
We have, in fact analyzed some operations with regard to the attack linked to Vucinic, Tevez and Llorente, considering a time span of three years, the initial investment for the card, excluding bonuses.
MORE 'STATEMENT - The player cheaper at the moment is Fernando Llorente with a cost of 24 million gross in three years, linked to the 8 gross salary for three seasons.
MORE 'DEAR - cost a little 'and they cost more, more over three years, Carlitos Tevez and Mirko Vucinic. The first is cost about 9 million to Juventus to add the 9 gross for three years. The total is 36 million euro. Vucinic, however, was bought by Rome for € 15 million, and was paid by Juventus approximately 6 million gross per season for three season are 18, for a total of 33 (which you could then remove the 6 million of the sale to ' Al Jazeera).
Going to consider new purchases as possible, it is easy to see that Juventus has tremendously increased the cost of the card, even Iturbe could be the highest paid player with 25 million Euros. That said, it decreases the cost for engagement that 3 million gross for 3 years is equal to that of Tevez for a season. The sum of the three-year period, without even going to calculate the eventual price at which the Bianconeri could resell the player makes the operation very convenient. Same goes for Morata, where the cost of the card should be about 18 million, lower than Iturbe, but still high. Also in this case we speak of possible investment for three years at 30 million, which would make the operation even at no cost, if Real enters them repurchase clause.
It remains clear that the leadership is working very closely with a very careful eye toward operating costs, if the choices are correct, such as those made in the past, we could face the nth very successful operation.

Could you guys see what I'm seeing? Don't you know why we sold Immobile? Why we got Morata and Iturbe?
If you see here: We got Tevez and Llorente for the cheapest price possible. Tevez and Llorente are older than 28, so what I see here is that we spent high on Iturbe and Morata because the strategy now is to invest highlt on youth and mix it up with Quality experience (Tevez and Llorente), so we could build a strong squad for the future... Why didn't we get Sanchez for 30m+? Its because he already is 25 years old and he does not have the potential of Iturbe... Iturbe can surpass Sanchez in the future, so ofcourse, Iturbe is worth it. This is why as well we are keeping hold of berardi... He is within our reach.
Given that, MAYBE Pogba will be sold for 60m+ in 3-4 years... Just like how we sold immobile for a relatively good price (almost 10m).
What do you think?

Hahahahah, striker/forward it all means the same thing. BTW, we got Both Lolrente and tevez for 15m max . Lol, Llorente for free after Bilbao wanted 37m for him in January of 2013. And in my eyes, they are World class. Without them, we wouldn't have gotten the most points in the top 5 leagues in the world .

It basically says the price/deal for Iturbe is done, now we are also pursuing Romulo (Galatasaray also) in a possible swap with Padoin.

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
If we can slightly improve our bench AND decrease the age then it's worth it definitely, if we have better depth we can also rest key players and that will help us during deep European Cup runs.
Like when we played Bayern, our midfielders had played nearly double the minutes they had, and had played a few days before unlike their counter parts.
Some of our players end up playing way too much because Conte doesn't trust the back ups to do a decent job.

TBH? I think we have good amount of depth now given that we have capture Morata and Iturbe...
For CMs, we have 4 concrete players battling for 3 spots, and with padion as back up... Its great lol, but yeah, I agree we could add little bit more, though that should not be our main focus.... AND IF we are converting to 4-3-3, Asamoah would be our 5th MC... Which is great...

Re: - | Transfer Talk | Rumors | News | -
You need 5 proper midfielders to play with 3 mids really. Padoin was almost never used in midfield so we were over stretched
And it's not about just having depth, it's about having quality depth. Which we don't have outside of Marchisio and Caceres.
Really Romulo and Pereyra would make a big difference.

if we play 4-3-3 we will have Asamoah next season as CM , Asamoah is a CM (*looking at one poster who said ' if you say that asa is a cm I will go cray' * )

@Tom:
I think that we have enough depth for a 433... 5 Great CMs fighting for 3 spots! (Markizio, Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Asamoah)
For defence? Hmmmm.. Peluso is gone lol I wish him good luck <3 De Ceglie and Motta back? You forgot about Ogbonna... So Chiellini, Ogbonna, Bonnuci, Barzagli fighting for CB... and Caceres, lichtsteiner fighting for RB... LB? This is what we currently need... Unless De Ceglie does't get sold.
Caceres can play LB too... So I think we are good, and having more depth shouldn't be on the top of our list.
