The 3rd goal was just beyond bad

He was really close to his near post, and somehow a toe poke from Oscar went in to the near post. The way he 'adjusted' his feet was hilarious. Looked like he was playing a cheeky game of Just Dance 4.

Julio Cesar also looked awful. I don't think he can take part in this thread.

He looked pretty bad aswell I agree. Might be a liability going forward. However we know he has it in him to play well, although I have no idea what's happened to him in America lol. Might just be past it.

Last I checked the earth magnetic field was researched in geophysics, not so much in meteorology.

But obviously it did affect the positioning and directional sense of the goalies.

Right since the start of the match I felt Pletikosa was terrible. In fact I remember not liking him as a goalkeeper for Croatia even in the past.

Well, I am not a Geophysicist so I am not the best person to answer but from what I've read (not much) it has to do with the Earth's Magnetic field being at it's weakest there when compared to an idealized Magnetic field.

I disagree completely.


And conceding a pen is fine, but if you guess the right way and the pen is a poorly taken one, you should absolutely be saving that.

I disagree with Tom about the first goal. It went through he defenders legs and I'm guessing he saw that shot late. I have no issue with this thread vein created for the last 2.

I agree that Cesar was very poor - he had me feeling incredibly nervous during the second half.

By the time the ball was through his legs, the GK still had a very long time to react indeed. He is just far too slow for his own good.
