Touted to become one of the great coaches of the coming years in portugal. He took Sporting Lisbon ahead of Porto, 2nd in the table behind benfica.

Monaco, under the guidance of Jorge Mendes, are making a serious push to sign him according to RMC. Their sporting director supposedly is in travels to portugal today to make it happen.

L'Equipe says Jorge Jesus and Nice Matin says Jardim. As i've said before... Nice Matin is the media to source when it comes to Monaco.

Not for the clubs outside of Provence... l'Equipe is seen as a PSG puppet paper in the south of France and everyone hates them as a result lol. They get no good info with these clubs.

Regardling any club outside of Provence, l'Equipe is money.

This dude got fired by Olympiakos for sleeping with the club president's wife Laughing Great manager though. Has gotten great results everywhere.

I know it sounds good to say, brought Sporting to 2nd place above Porto. But Porto had a horrific year so its not that impressive.

What is however impressive is how for years Sporting were terrible and he came and they have clearly improved.

It's strange to me how he is only ever in one place for a season and then for whatever reason, changes clubs.

Well he kept getting offers from a bigger club after one year so he kept moving up... The only time where that wasn't true was from Olympiakos to Sporting. He left that one because he slept with the club President's wife so he had to go Laughing

Well he didnt go directly from Beira-Mar to Braga. He left midway through a 2nd season and then started the next one started with Braga.

I dont know why he left, dont follow the lower teams in Portugal at all.
